Farmers: Cacao pods on farms can be

harvested within every 3 to 4 weeks.


SECOND TIER SUPPLIERS

Which are then transported to


factories for further processing.

Dairy farmers produce and


transport milk for further
filtering etc.

Farmers grow and


harvest sugarcane by
forecasting demand. It is
then sent for processing.
Soybean is also grown and
harvested to produce
emulsifying agents.

FIRST TIER SUPPLIERS


Fermentation, Drying and Roasting:
The pulp-covered beans are fermented in factories.
After fermentation, the beans are dried. This
process takes up to 14 days.
The beans are then Roasted and grinded to produce
Cocoa Liquor the main ingredient.
Milk is further processed and purified.
This takes about 3 days.

Sugar cane is refined and turned into


sugar.
Aluminum is turned into foil for
packaging.
Soya Bean is processed to
produce lecithin

MANUFACTURING PROCESS

The raw materials (cocoa liquor,
Milk, Lecithin, sugar) are mixed
together and formed into chocolate
bars. The chocolate is wrapped in
foil and packed.
