Memorandum of Understanding between

AICTE and Internshala to facilitate internships
for students enrolled in AICTE approved academic institutions

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is made & enlered into on 27th April, 20L7 between the
All India Council for Technical Education, located at New Delhi (hereinafter referred to as "AICTE"),
and lnternshala, located at Gurugram (hereinafter referred to as "lnternshala"). The MoU is being
signed with Internshala as a partner to facilitate internships for students enrolled in AICTE approved
academic institutions.

Purpose

This MoU between AICTE and Internshala will outline the collaboration to facilitate internships for
students enrolled in AICTE approved academic institutions.

Where as

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament
(Act 52 of 1987) under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India for the
purpose of planning, promotion, and regulation of technical education system in the country.

Where as

Internshala is lndia's largest internship platform used by 40,000+ organizations offering 4 lac+
internships every year. Internshala is incorporated as Scholiverse Educare Pvt Ltd with its registered
office at 8-809, Unitech Business Zone, South City-Z, Gurugram, Haryana - !22AL8. On lnternshala,
students can find internships in all domains such as engineering, management, applied arts,
architecture, design, law, hotel management, and so forth. Students can search and apply for
internships listed on Internshala for free.

Context

AICTE is working to improve the employability of students and is planning to mandate internships for
all the students enrolled in AICTE approved academic institutions. To facilitate internships for all such
students, AICTE is exploring partnership with different stakeholders and has identified Internshala as
a potential partner.

As part of this MoU, both the parties hereto agree to the following respectively:

o Will make all the necessary resources (internships, free applications, counselling, and guidance)
available to students registered through this partnership
r Will create success stories of the students landing internships successfully. Circulate these stories
among other students through offline (newspapers) & online (videos/blogs posts on social media)
media and appoint successful candidates as internship arnbassador to help & guide their peers
oThere are no financial implications involved between either Internshala & AICTE or Internshala &
participating colleges as a part of this MoU.

2. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

oWill acknowledge Internshala as Internship Partner in allexternal communicationsto the institutions

and general public, including official press releases.
oWill send out communications to academic institutions under its purview to encourage/direct them
to use Internshala for internships for their students.
o Will support media coverage to build awareness aboui internships among students by issuing press
releases, success stories of students, internship trends & surveys from time to time.

In witness whereof, the parties hereto have caused this Memorandum of Understanding to be
executed by their representatives in duplicate, each party retaining one {L) copy thereof respectively.

Internshala and AICTE to organise Internship Day: To felicitate colleges with the best internship
record

Delhi, India, 2nd May 2018 - lndia's leading internship and training platform, Internshala, and All India
Council for Technical Education (AICTE) announced today that together they would be conducting
Internship Day on 4th Saturday of August to felicitate colleges with the best internship record. The
event is meant to acknowledge the colleges who have made remarkable efforts in helping their
students secure internships during the months of April - July. This year, the event will be held on 25th
August 2018 in Delhi.

AICTE is working to improve the employability of students and has mandated internships for all the
students enrolled in AICTE approved academic institutions. To make internships popular among the
student and the college communities and to acknowledge the colleges putting significpnt efforts to
help their students, AICTE, with the help of Internshala, will recognise the colleges, the release added.
AICTE Chairman, Dr Anil D Sahasrabudhe, said, "lnternships are an essential part of the college life for
students. lt helps them gain immense exposure and learn industry-specific skills, enabling them to
land their dream jobs. The college, including faculties and the T&Ps, plays an essential role in preparing
the students for their future jobs, and through the Internship Day event, we hope to see Sreater
participation from students and colleges in promoting internship culture in India."

Internshala,with the help of AICTE, will assist all the colleges in registering their students on
Internshala and provide them with internship opportunities throughout the . summer of
2018 making all necessary resourceis available to them. The colleges from where maximum number of
students get selected for internships on Internshala will be recognised in the event.

Internshala was founded in 2010 and provides internship and training opportunities to over 2.5 million
students registered with it. Students can find internships in a diverse range of fields including
engineering, management, applied arts, science, law, design, hotel management, architecture, and so
forth.

Sarvesh Agrawal, the founder and CEO of Internshala, said, "We are really excited to collaborate with
