SCRIPT DEMO MASAK

My name is mohammad rafshanjani and todayi will demonstrate how to make ginger cookies.
I’d like to prove wether my trasnlation result was correct or not. And today i will try to
follow this recipe. Here i have prepared some of the ingridients that are needed to make this
cookies. Based on this recipe, we need 180gr butter, 200gr sugar, 1 big egg, 200ml liquid
sugar, 270gr flour, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, 1 teaspoon baking soda, ¾ teaspoon ground
cinamon, ½ teaspoon ground cloves, ¼ teaspoon salt. But today, i will make only half of the
recipe which means that i will cut the measured ingredients by half.

Here we have butter, liquid sugar, flour, egg, salt, ginger, cloves, cinamon, baking soda,
sugar.

So based on some references that i learned from the internet, the first step is to mix the dry
ingridients.

The next step is to smoothes the butter, sugar, egg, and i only use 100ml of liquid sugar for
half of the recipe.

I will take the sugar and mix it with a mixer.

After we mix the ingredients until its blended, the texture will change.

The next step is to add 1 egg and then mix before we add liquid sugar. So here’s the texture
of the mixed ingredients.

Now we will add the liquid sugar to substitute the Molases which will work as well

Now we will mix it.

Back to the mixed dry ingredients and add it into the molases mixture and mix it well.

After we mix it, the texture will gradually change and look like this. The dough shape is
already formed, but they are a little too runny.

The last step is to form the dough into cookies shapes before we put it in the oven.

The shape is totally up to you, it’s just a matter of personal preferences. But now, im doing it
by using a spoon because my dough is a bit chewy. And i forgot to record the shaping
process, and now im almost done. The shape doesn’t have to look good because the taste is
all that matters, even though that mine looks really bad. I will put some crushed peanuts as a
garnish.

if we check the recipe, we will notice that a preferable amount of sugar is needed to roll the
cookie dough in. But it is okay if you didn’t want to because it’s personal preferences.
Besides, my dough is sweet enough already and im afraid that it will be too sweet if i add
more sugar into it.
Now, we’ll need to preheat the oven on 175 celcius. Now close the oven to prevent the heat
from leaving the oven. The same heat goes for the lower heater. Both upper and lower heater
are setted on 175 celcius. And we’re all set, now we have to wait untill the heat rises up to
175 celcius before we insert the cookie tray. And these are the final forms of the dough that i
had shaped previously. Now we just have to insert the tray into the oven. Now set the time on
8-10 minutes for 175 celcius. And now we just have to wait

So this is the result of my ginger cookie. The shape is just fine, but there are some burned
cookies. But i think it is okay for my first try. So, after the previous cooking demonstration i
performed, i can jump to the conclusion that the recipe works just fine, but i turned out into
something that im expected. Im not saying that the taste was bad, but im also not saying that
im already succeed in recreating this recipe. However, the taste is actually good. Maybe there
are some factors behind this little failure. I think it is because that i tried to make only half of
the recipe becaus i personally think that 1 whole recipe was just too much. And there are also
several steps that i skip over, like the last part where we are supposed to roll our cookie
dough into a bowl of sugar. there are also some substitution that i did, one of them is the
Liquid sugar, where we’re supposed to use molases that may affect the texture because the
texture of liquid sugar is not as thick as molases are.

Well, i think that was all for this cooking video demonstration, i think it is not bad. To fill
