Characters: Narrator, Little Red Riding Hood, Mother, Sketchy Wolf, Grandmother,
Policeman.
Scene 1
Narrator:
Once upon a time there was a little girl who lived in Youngstown, Ohio with her
mother. She wore
a red cloak all the time, and this is why everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood
girl.
Mother: Darling?
Little Red Riding Hood: Did you call me, mother?
Mother: You know your grandmother is ill. Would you take this basket of cookies
and some milk to her house?
Little Red Riding Hood: Of course, I will!
Mother: But be careful honey and don´t stop in Oak Hill Park to talk to anyone Do
as I say and go straight
to your grandmother´s house.
Little Red Riding Hood:
Yes, mother.
Narrator:
The Little Red Riding Hood start her journey to her grandmother's house. She was
joyfully singing
through her walk on the park.
Little Red Riding Hood:
Oh, what beautiful flowers! I bet my Grandmother would love some.
Narrator:
She left the little basket and milk on the ground to pick up some flowers, when
suddenly...
Sketchy Wolf:
Good afternoon. Little Red Riding Hood!
Little Red Riding Hood:
Good afternonn, Mr. Wolf.
Sketchy Wolf:
You got some beautiful flowers there! Where are you going?
Little Red Riding Hood:
Thank you, Sketchy wolf! I am going to my ill grandmother´s house to take her this
little basket of
cookies with some milk.
Sketchy Wolf:
Does your grandmother live far from here, Little Red Riding Hood?
Little Red Riding Hood:
Oh no, Sketchy Wolf, she lives just across the park the first little house ... the one
with the white
door.
Sketchy Wolf:
Oh ok! Good-bye. And I hope she gets better.
Scene 2
Narrator:
Little Red Riding Hood kept disobeying her mother and she was still looking for
flowers for her
grandmother. Meanwhile, the wolf knocked at Little Red Riding Hood grandmother
´s house.
Grandmother:
Who´s there?
Sketchy Wolf:
It´s me grandmother, Little Red Riding Hood, and I brought you a basket of cookies
with some
milk to make you feel better.
Grandmother:
Come in my deer, the door is open.
Narrator:
As soon as the sketchy wolf entered he ate Little Red Riding Hood´s grandmother.
Then he put on
her nightgown and glasses, jumped into bed and waited for the little girl. A few
minutes later
Little Red Riding Hood arrived at her grandmother´s house. She knocked at the door.
Sketchy Wolf:
Who´s there?
Little Red Riding Hood:
Grandmother, it´s me, your granddaughter, Little Red Riding Hood. I came to bring
you a little
basket of cookies with some milk.
Sketchy Wolf:
Come in my little angel, the door is open.
Narrator:
As Little Red Riding Hood entered the house, she went straight to her grandmother´s
room, and
in the bed there was the Wolf dressed with her grandmother´s clothes.
Sketchy Wolf:
Come in, my deer. Rest for a while
Narrator:
Little Red Riding Hood sat in a chair by the bed, looked at her grandmother and
started to
wonder why she looked so different.
Little Red Riding Hood:
Oh, grandmother, your voice sounds so odd.
Are you feeling ok?
Sketchy Wolf:
Oh, I just have a bit of a cold.
Little Red Riding Hood:
Oh, and why do you have some big ears?
Sketchy Wolf:
It's to hear you better honey.
Little Red Riding Hood:
And what big eyes you have!
Sketchy Wolf:
It's so that I can see you better.
Little Red Riding Hood:
Oh, grandmother, and what sharp and big teeth you have.
Sketchy Wolf:
It's so that I can eat you better! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
Narrator:
The Sketchy Wolf jumped out of bed and attacked Little Red Riding Hood.
Meanwhile a policeman
was passing by the little house, when he saw the door open. He entered, looked into
the room and
the Little Red Riding girl fighting the Sketchy Wolf and decided to save her!
Policeman:
Oh no! The wolf is trying to eat the little girl, I'm going to have to shoot him.
Narrator:
He grabbed his gun at shot the Sketchy wolf in the head and then cut the wolf's
stomach to save
the grandmother as well, who was still in one piece.
Little Red Riding Hood:
Oh, thank you so much policeman!
Grandmother:
This will be a lesson for you, Little Red Riding Hood. Now you will never disobey
your mother
again.
