WITHDRAWALS AND REFUND POLICY

Withdrawals and refunds are subject to the following condition:

1. All fees other than tuition are non-refundable.


2. Tuition refunds will be made on the total tuition for the term.
3. Tuition refunds will be based on the following schedule:
• Before the first week of class - 100%
• Within the first week of class - 90%
• Within the second week of class - 80%
• Beyond two weeks of class - 0
4. The above rules are applied regardless of whether or not the student has attended classes. It is deemed
that once a student is enrolled, they intend to study for the whole year. Once the student has been
accepted, they contribute to the students' population limit, and the school loses the opportunity to accept
additional bonafide enrollees.
5. EXCEPTIONS
Students may claim their refund even beyond the 2nd week of classes if the withdrawals are valid and
justifiable. In this case, the student will be charged up to and including the last month of attendance in
school.
I. For this purpose, valid and justifiable reasons are:
a) Transfer of residence to another country
b) Sickness, supported by duly attested medical certificate preventing the student from
attending class in any other school for the rest of the academic year
II. The following are not justifiable reasons:
a) Voluntary transfer to other schools
b) Lack of judgement to the school, teachers, and/or environment
c) Misunderstanding
d) Lack of enthusiasm

Because of the above, students withdrawing after the 2nd week of classes, unless for justifiable reasons as stated in
item 5.1, will be charged the tuition fees for the entire school year. No official clearance will be released unless
tuition fees and bank are paid.

This is to certify that I have read and understood the policy of Alashbal International School on payment and
refund fees.

The fees mentioned above were discussed and explained during the registration, and I agree to pay my child’s
account for AY 2022 - 2023

GENERAL POLICIES

Dismissal
If you wish to have your child dismissed to individuals other than yourself (nanny, auntie, granny, etc.), please specify those
individuals below with their contact numbers.

Fees Policy
There will be no reduction in fees for any instance the child went for vacation during the academic year from August to June.
Furthermore, there is no cut back during holidays or any school days that the child may not be able to attend due to some
reasons.

Authorization for emergency medical attention


In any event, due to unexpected circumstances such as harm or an illness, medical treatment is necessary. I authorized the
school head, teachers, or staff of Alashbal to take whatever emergency measures are essential for protecting my child while
in their concern.

I understand that this may be done prior to getting in touch with me and that any expense incurred for such treatment,
including emergency transportation, is my accountability.

On Children with Special Educational Needs


Parents/guardians are requested to affirm the child’s condition upon registration. A copy of any assessment relating to special
educational needs, behavioral and social problems (e.g., doctors assessments/reports, speech, and language therapy) is
required to ensure that the school can meet the child's needs. Thus, if Alashbal cannot cater to the child’s educational/social
conditions, the school reserves the right to withdraw the child’s seat or be admitted upon providing a shadow teacher that
the parents provide.
