Course Title: AUTOMOTIVE SERVICING NC I

Nominal Duration: 47 Hours (Basic)

Qualification Level: National Certificate I

Course Description: This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and
attitudes of an individual in the field of automotive servicing in
accordance with industry standards. It covers core competen-
cies such as; performance of basic engine servicing through
removal and reinstallation of components for gas and diesel
engines.

This course is also designed to enhance the basic and com-


mon knowledge, skills and attitudes of an individual in the field
of automotive servicing.

To obtain this, all units prescribed for this qualification must be


achieved.
Trainee Entry
Requirement: Trainees or students should possess the following require-
ments:

 can perform basic mathematical computation
 physically and mentally fit
 with good moral character
 at least 18 years of old
