Task 1 – Evidence Document
• Open the file Evidence.rtf
• Make sure your name, Centre number and Class & Roll No will appear on every page of
your Evidence Document by placing these details in the header.
• Save this Evidence Document, as a word processed document, in your work area as
Evidence followed by your Class & Roll No. For example, Evidence10A01

Task 2 – Web Page

You are going to develop web pages for a Basketball College Team.
Efficient markup and stylesheets must be used. All colour codes must be in hexadecimal.

1. • Create a new folder called BB_html.


• Locate the following files and store them in your GGG_html folder.

2. • Create a web page called BBHomepage.htm [7]
• This webpage must open in any browser and contain a single table to look like this:
• The dimensions of each cell are given in parenthesis () in pixels.
• Text shown in bold must be entered onto your web page.
• Replace text in <chevrons> with image/candidate details as instructed.
• Appropriate text should be visible in case any image does not load.
• The letters, dimensions and borders must not appear on your final web page.

3. • In cell D enter the text as given below keeping in mind the line breaks:

5. • The file P3_tryouts.txt gives GIRLS & BOYS tryout schedule. [2]

• In cell H, paste the girls schedule from the P3_tryouts.txt file in the form of an
unordered list below the heading GIRLS Schedule: which you entered in step17

• In cell I, paste the boys schedule from the P3_tryouts.txt file in the form of an
unordered list below the heading BOYS Schedule: which you entered in step17

6. • In cell G, create an anchor named try

• Make the text TRYOUTS in cell C a hyperlink to this anchor. [2]

7. • Make only the text GALLERY in cell B, a hyperlink to the page P3_BBGallery.htm such
that it opens in a new tab [2]

8. • Attach the stylesheet P3_BBstyle.css to your webpage. [1]

9. • Create a class named banner for the table cell D. [1]

10. • Save the webpage in your BB_html folder.

You will modify the P3_BBstyle.css stylesheet using the most efficient syntax. Make
sure your stylesheet does not contain any HTML.

11. • Edit the above stylesheet using the information given below: [10]

Font Arial, 18 pixels high
Text alignment justified
list list type use the image P3_BBicon.png as bullets
banner class background use the image P3_BBbanner.png as background

Font Viner Hand ITC, 30 pixels high

Add your Name, Centre No, Class Div & Roll No as a comment at the end of the
stylesheet.

12. • Save your stylesheet.


Paste your stylesheet source code in your evidence document.

13. • Open the webpage P3_BBGallery.htm in a suitable software package and attach the
P3_BBstyle.css to the webpage such that it does not override the internal stylesheet.

14. • In the P3_BBGallery.htm webpage, add internal stylesheet code to add: [4]

• a background image P3_BBbanner.png without repeat aligned to top right corner.

• background colour with EE green component, D4 blue component & F0 red


component.

• Add your name, centre no, class div & roll number as a comment in the head

• Save your webpage.

15. • Display the webpage BBHomepage.htm in your browser. Resize it so that: [1]
° All the text on the page is visible
° No elements overlap with each other
° The address bar is properly visible.
Take screenshot evidence(s) of the web page in the browser and place this in your
Evidence Document.
16. • Paste a copy of the html source code of BBHomepage.htm in the evidence document.

Take a copy of the HTML source and place this in your Evidence Document.
17. • Display the webpage P3_BBGallery.htm in your browser.
Take screenshot evidence(s) of the web page in the browser and place this in your
Evidence Document.
18. • Paste a copy of the html source code of P3_BBGallery.htm in the evidence document.

Take a copy of the HTML source and place this in your Evidence Document.
