Guillotine in The Network
Guillotine in The Network
- Transfer of job data from the machine to the Management Information System in the company
The costs (cuts and time consumption) per job can be recorded and the processing status of the order entered into the
MIS. The recorded data can also be used to record the consumable material (cutting edges, grinding the knives)
It is necessary for networking to integrate the machine into the company network. This is usually done using the patch
cable on each machine.

We supply every premium line machine with a standard converter. The standard converter translates CIP3 and simple
CIP4 files into a cutting program.
Advantages:
- Multiple creation and storage of the same cutting program cannot happen
Optimal use of the machine memory because less programs are generated
The operator of the cutting machine has access an external computer from the cutting machine and make the data
input from there. "It is not necessary to install a computer next to the guillotine and avoid the use of an external data
terminal.
