c. appreciate the importance of technical and operational in a written text.

Technical Definition - refers to a very detailed description of a term, process, or

phenomenon. It often describes what the thing does, how it is used, and to what
purpose.

Example 1;
A computer is a machine or device that performs processes,
calculations and operations based on instructions provided by a software
or hardware program.
Example 2;
 . Vehicle, that is fully and immediately capable of driving with active motor
vehicle registration and that is not in any wrecked, discarded, abandoned, or
work-in-progress condition

Operational definition- is a definition of term that explains the process or

procedure by which it is going to be measured or how it is used in your paper.

Example 1:
 Computer, is something used in doing home works or browsing the
internet.

Example 2:
Vehicle a means of carrying or transporting something

Directions: Write the differences and similarities of operational and
technical definition using the Venn Diagram. Do this on your answer sheet.

VI. GENERALIZATION
Technical definition, is from general references like, dictionary, encyclopedia,
book and other sources general meaning of the word of term, on the other hand,
Operational definition, your own definition, from the researcher and contextual meaning
of the word, phrase or term.

V. EVALUATION
