ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON THE TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY

I. INTRODUCTION

A tree planting activity is a good way for the community to show that greener
earth is what we need. It encourages individuals and communities to save the environment.
It's a learning experience for all who take part. It’s an activity that unites society in
building a better world.

In line with the scouting month celebration of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, BSP
Batangas Council conducted a Councilwide Tree Planting Activity. This activity supports the
BSP thrust on the care and protection of our environment and the Go Green Challenge. This
activity is also in line with strategic objective no.1 on scouts helping create better
communities’ under the Better World Framework of the Worlds Scouting Movement’s Four
Thematic areas of Education and UN SDG no 13 and 15. This is also in support of DENR’s
thrust on the care and protection of the environment as they donated seedling thru our
provincial Government and Natural Resources Office.

Lucban Elementary School joined in the said event. Boy scouts who are registered
members participated in this activity.
