Training Design

General Program Information: In-Service Training (INSET) is an avenue to


discuss matter pertaining to improvement, direction and clarify things in order to
meet a certain or desired goal. DepEd Order No. 35 s. 2016 fully supports the
continuing professional development of teaching personnel based on the principle
of lifelong learning and DepEd’s commitment to the development of teachers’
potential aimed towards their success in profession. Focus of this INSET session
is to review the performance, feedback and outcome of the implemented Learning
Recovery Plan as an instrument in dealing and solving the learning gaps brought
by the pandemic.

VII. Rationale:

Adherence to DepEd Order No. 34, s. 2022 entitled School Calendar and
Activities for the School Year 2022-2023 to comply with the required number of
school days to attain the learning standards. Stated under number 23 of the said
DepEd Order that the Phase 1 implementation of the Basic Education
Development Plan 2030 covers post -COVID-19 recovery and transition
addressing the remaining access gaps, focusing on quality, and system-wide
capacity development. Highly encouraged to implement a contextualized
strategies and interventions as part of the Learning Recovery and Continuity Plan
which shall focus on the three key areas:
a. Learning Remediation and intervention;
b. Socio-emotional functioning, mental health, and well-being; and
c. Professional development of teachers.

Ensuring that the learning gaps are identified and addressed among all
learners especially the vulnerable children different plans are anchored for
smooth implementation of the said recovery. With the mid-year In Service
Trainings and LAC sessions, teachers’ skills will be enhanced/strengthened with
the different strategies and approaches dealing with teaching-learning process
and assessment.

VIII. Objectives

Terminal Objectives:
At the end of the sessions, participants will understand their roles,
functions and utmost participation in the Learning Recovery and Continuity
Plan.

Enabling Objectives:
1. Have a clear understanding on the direction of the schools
Learning Recovery Plan and their Instructional Support Plan.
  2.  Identify the PPA’s that fits to the needs of the learner.
            3. Apply learned techniques and guidelines in analyzing, assessing,
              monitoring and evaluation of learning outcomes to address the gaps.
  4. Use standard/crafted monitoring tool and feedback form.
