Case Study: you spent the last few weeks slacking off in one of your courses. You've missed many of the classes,
and haven't been keeping up with the content or doing your homework. You go into class one day to find out that
you have a quiz. You don't know any of the questions and fail.

1. Describe a perception intervention that you learned this week that you could use to re-frame this stressor
so you could manage it better in the future. Be specific about how you would implement these tactics,
and what specifically you could say to yourself in order to encourage a new perception of the situation to
take hold.

The type of perception intervention that can be used in this situation is cognitive restructuring. Start
attending all the classes, complete homework and make sure I know the date of quizzes and prepare for
them. I would tell myself that the next time I will do well and that I will not fail this course so I need to
step up my game in making sure that I am prepare for future quizzes.

2. Explain why this perception intervention would work well for your personality type.

This will work for my personality type because we are organized, detailed oriented and we ensure
accuracy. Also, with my personality type I am a worrier and I will worry about failing the course so I think
this perception intervention will help.
