In this project, you will edit and format a research paper that contains information about skin protection and the use of
sunblocks and sunscreens. This paper was created by Rachel Holder, a medical intern at University Medical Center, for
distribution to her classmates studying dermatology.

2 Select all the text, change the Line Spacing to 2.0, and then change 5
the Spacing After to 0 pt.
3 At the top of the document, insert a new blank paragraph, and then in 5
the new blank paragraph, type Rachel Holder and press ENTER.
Type Dr. Hillary Kim and press ENTER. Type Dermatology 544 and
press ENTER. Type August 31, 2021 and press ENTER.
4 In the new blank paragraph, type Skin Protection 4

6 Insert a header, type Holder and then press SPACEBAR one time. 0
Display the Page Number gallery, and then in the Current Position,
add the Plain Number style.

Mac users: in the Header & Footer group, click Page Number, on the
menu click Page Number; under Alignment, be sure Right is selected.
7 Apply Align Right formatting to the header. Insert a footer with the file 0
name.
8 To the paragraph that begins One way to prevent, apply a first line 6
indent of 0.5”.
9 On Page 2, at the end of the paragraph that begins In the medical 6
field, immediately following the period at the end of the paragraph,
insert a footnote with the following text (one footnote is already
present): The American Academy of Dermatology recommends
using a broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or more. Be
sure to type the period at the end of the footnote.
10 Modify the Footnote Text style so that the Font Size is 11, there is a 10

15 In the report, select the citation you just created, display the Citation 5
Options, and then edit the citation to include Page 96
16 Move to the end of the document, and then insert a manual page 5
break to create a new page.
17 On the new Page 4, display the Paragraph dialog box, and then 0
change the Indentation under Special to (none).
18 In the Citations & Bibliography group, click Bibliography, and then near 5
the bottom of the list, click Works Cited. Select the paragraph Works

topic. Close the Researcher pane, and then on Page 1, in the
paragraph that begins Most sunburns, in the fifth line, select the text
sun protection factor. To the selected text, apply Yellow Text Highlight
Color.
