Passive Voice

Part I
Example:
active voice: This Hotel serves breakfast from 10 to 11.
passive voice: Breakfast is served from 10 to 11 in this hotel.

A.V: Shakespeare wrote ‘Romeo and Juliet’.


P.V: ‘Romeo and Juliet’ was written BY Shakespeare.

A.V: I paid my operation. I pay my operation


P.V: My operation was paid by me. My operation is paid by me.
I will pay my future operation (future) My operation will be paid by me.

Practice Part I

A. Complete these sentences using the correct form of the verbs in the box.
Use the passive form of the Present Simple or Past Simple. Provide the
Spanish translations for each example.

Example: Scotch whisky is made in Scotland.

Spanish Translation:
