Methodology
Time management methods involved findings ways to work more efficiency,
so as to maximize one’s use of time. A variety of techniques and tools for list making
task analysis scheduling and task prioritization are typically use for this purpose. This
chapter present the methodology of this survey by providing information about the
strategy followed in order to collect responses from the detailed information about the
research sample. This chapter includes the research design, the sample, the
instruments, the data collection procedure, and the plan for data analysis.
Research design
This study aims to utilize the descriptive design wherein using the
descriptive-correlational method. This method is used in order to determine if there is
a significant relationship between the time management and reducing stress to
grade 12 gas students at DNHS. It is both descriptive and correlational for
Descriptive research is a kind of research designed to give information, a textual
information about the topic, variables and the rest. And Correlational in a way for it is
used to discover relationships among different variables and to allow the prediction of
future events from present knowledge which is the time management and reducing
stress as the variables and its result will be the prediction of the after effect it gives
to the student or respondents that predicts his or her future events. It is a descriptive
correlational study designed to examine the relationship between time management
and reducing stress.
Research Locale
This study located at DNHS. The researchers also considered the convenience
of the participants and their interview will be held on a specific location wise area at
Dalwangan. This is to a sure that the researchers and participants will be able to gain.
Respondents/Participants of the study
Our targets/audience are the students at DNHS grade 12 gas students with total
respondents of 60 participants.
Research Instruments
This refers to questionnaire or data gathering tools to be constructed validated
and administered (craswell 2012). The data was gathered through rating scale that
indicates the frequency with which you do each researchers conduct. The usefulness
of this instrument depends on the ability to accurately assess by researchers. The
assigned worth or allocated qualities are as per following rating scale.
Data gathering procedures
In order to each participant should be questioned on what time they will be
available to conduct the survey to minimize their effort. The researcher question will
be distributed and hand of the participants including the rating scale that provided.
The most common of gathering data collection in quantitative research interview with
respondents to investigate their view point on specific thoughts.

time management).
40 – 49 (There is some room for improvement in what you are doing. Focus
some of the information below and you will improve your personal time management
and reduce your stress).
30- 39 ( Time management is difficult but you are working on building those
skills! Look at your time assessment are you using your time efficiency, work on
getting and flushing out your planner).
30 below (This may be first time you have had to fully manage your own
time).
Research Ethics
Graciano and Raulin (2004) considered ethical consideration as the integral
part of the research design process. Silverman (2007) added that ethical
considerations can be clarified by consulting the ethical guidelines of one’s
professional association. After identifying, the researchers sent a letter of
permission to the school director. The information wasn’t informed so that
conversation will be authentic and personal which is the much-needed phenomenon in
the study. If the researchers will ask the consent of the informants, their
conversation will be limited and they might be careful of their discourses. It
would be more harmonious having the permission of the participants. After the
researcher gathered the data, the informants were informed about the study and even
discussed the finding. The names of the participants in this study is just optional for
them to be revealed in order for them to have the freedom if they wanted
confidentiality or not with their identity. To observe ethical consideration, the
result and findings of the study we reshown back to the informants. This gave
them the opportunity to see how important they were in the study. The participants
signed the verification letter. Contained that the answers they put on the survey-
questionnaires are all be considered as their own and they will be accountable and
reliable with it.
Data analysis/treatment of the data
This section indicates how the data will be analyzed and reported; it
should specify quantitative methods that will be used in analyzing the data gathered
for the research. After Data Collection, the researchers will assess the survey
questions on the effect time management and reduce stress among grade 12 gas
student by cross tabulating and filtering the results based on the research questions.
With the decided sample of 60, the researchers will be using the
Statistical Tools such as.
Mean to identify the perceived stress level of the respondents
towards time management and reduce stress by using the mean scores of the
respondents’ answers and use to dignify accordingly the average mean score
of the independent and dependent variables. Therefore, in reporting the results,
the researcher stays close to the statistical findings without drawing broader
implications or meaning from them. Further, this section includes summaries of the
data rather than the raw data (eg, the actual scores for Individuals). A results section
includes tables, figures, and detailed explanations about the statistical results.
