I. Background of the Study:
➢ In this study, we will see the scores and the performances of the students.
Many students are struggling when it comes to this subject. That’s why we
need to know how many students is struggling to help them overcome the
struggle in this subject.

II. Statement of the problem:

➢ This study will help the researcher in determining the performance and
scores of the 30 students in grade 10-Rizal from Santiago National High
School.

III. Significance of the Study:

➢ The researcher will be able to determine whether or not the 30 selected
students are having problems with the subject by doing this study. This
research can also determine how many students pass or didn’t pass the
third quarter-long test.

IV. Methodology:
A. Research Design
Documentary analysis was used in conducting this mini-research.

B. Participants/Respondents
30 selected students from grade 10-Rizal at Santiago National High
School.

C. Data Gathering
The data for this study was gathered from the teacher's class record.

D. Statistical Treatment

𝑃25 = 15.5 + (0.5) 3

𝑃25 = 15.5 +1.5

𝑃25 = 17

Therefore, 25% of the n has a grade of <17

Percentile Rank:
We'll use Percentile Rank to see how many students received a grade
of 15 below. 14 is within 13-15, thus it belongs in the 2nd class.

(𝑃 − 𝐿𝐵) 𝑓𝑝
𝑃𝑅 = [100/𝑁] [ + 𝑐𝑓𝑝]

𝑃𝑅 = [100/30] [ + 2]

𝑃𝑅 = [100/30] [1.5 + 2]

𝑃𝑅 = [100/30] [3.5]

𝑃𝑅 = [3.33] [3.5]

𝑃𝑅 = 𝟏𝟏. 𝟔𝟓% 𝒐𝒓 𝟏𝟐%

Therefore, 12% of the class got a score of <14

IV. Results and Findings (Evaluation):

➢ As a result, 12% of the 30 chosen Grade 10-Rzial students got a score of
15 or lower on their 3rd quarter long-test in Mathematics.

V. Conclusion and Recommendation:

➢ Base on the result, the majority of the 30 chosen students from 10-Rzial
received high marks on their 3rd quarter long-test in Math. There were
only a few students that received a low score. The 12% who received a 15
or lower should retake the long-test.
