RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY AMENAH

F. PANGANDAMAN OF DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT (DBM) AT
GENERAL SOLANO STREET, SAN MIGUEL, MANILA TO ALLOCATE SOME FUND
AMOUNTING FIVE MILLION PESOS FOR BARANGAY SOLAR POWER STREET LIGHTS
IN BARANGAY LEGARDA UNO, DINAS, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR.

The Presiding Officer presented to the august body the need to adopt a Barangay Resolution
address to Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman to allocate some fund amounting Five Million Pesos
(P5,000,000.00) for Solar Power Street Lights in Barangay Legarda Uno, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur;

WHEREAS, a Solar Power Street Lights project has been seen that has a greater impact not only
providing luminance during night time on the streets but also provides security to the commuters for a
safe travel and accidents and provides no electric bill and minimal maintenance cost;

WHEREAS, there are reports of robbery, snatching and carnapping happening during night time
in our barangay and the neighboring barangays with no street lights installed;

NOW, THEREFORE, after due deliberation and consideration on the matter, on motion of
Sangguniang Barangay Member Hon. Charlito P. Tan, Committee on Infrastructure, and duly seconded
by all members present, it was;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to respectfully request the Honorable

Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman to allocate some fund amounting Five Million Pesos (P5,000,000.00)
for Solar Power Street Lights in Barangay Legarda Uno, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copy of this Approved Barangay Resolution No. 05, series
of 2023 to the Office of Department of Budget and Management for appropriate and immediate action.

are no issues related to the site and title, including informal settlers thereon and right-of-way
acquisition;

IV. The Barangay Local Government Unit of Legarda Uno, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur has
complied with the standards prescribed by the appropriate government agencies and has
secured necessary clearances of Certification from the same agencies before the
implementation of the eligible project(s) e.g., Environmental Clearance;

V. The Barangay Local Government Unit of Legarda Uno, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur commits
