Luffy is upset because he missed his online biology class about the postulates of cell theory and is worried he won't pass the exam, so his brothers Ace and Sabo offer to teach him the key points. They explain the four postulates: 1) all living things are made of cells, 2) cells come from preexisting cells through cell division, 3) cells have a similar internal structure and perform basic functions, and 4) the functions of a multicellular organism result from interactions between cells. Ace and Sabo use examples and illustrations to help Luffy understand the concepts.

A- Ace
S- Sabo
L- Luffy

A: luffy were back we bought you your favorite food!!

S: luffy! Are you home?
Went upstairs then saw luffy sitting and looks troubled
A: luffy! Why aren’t you answering we even bought you your favorites snack
L: im sorry ace its just I missed my online class in biology and our teacher said that what he discussed
in our online class will be at the exam for tomorrow and I missed it how am I gonna pass (starts to cry)
S: now now calm down what’s the lesson?
L: its about the postulate of cell theory
A: oh thats an easy one here let me teach you
S: no no let us teach you
L: really (amazed)
A: ok Cell theory is a proposed and widely accepted view of how most life on Earth functions.
S: cell theory is a collection of ideas and conclusions about the description and functioning of the cell,
contributed by numerous scientists over time.
A: Cells are the most important units of living organisms, being microscopic in size and capable of
independently reproducing . They have been the result of much research and the principles of cell
theory were initially proposed by the Germans Matthias Jakob Schleiden and Theodor Schwann, who
made their postulates clear:
S: The postulates of the cell theory are as follows:
1.Al living beings are made up of cells.
L: why all living made up of cells
A: The first characteristic of a living thing is that they are made up of cells. A cell is the basic building
block of all organisms. It is the smallest unit of organization in a living thing. They contain the
organism’s hereditary information (DNA) and can make copies of themselves in a process called
mitosis.
Cells are made up of a nucleus, and a cytoplasm, enclosed by a thin wall called a membrane, which
separates it from its surroundings. Plant cells have a nucleus, cytoplasm, and a cell membrane too.
The main difference between a plant and an animal cell is that plant cells have a vacuole, chloroplast,
and a cell wall.

Here is an illustration of an animal and a plant cell.

3. A:The structure and functions of the cells are essentially the same.
S:Cells of various types have different functions because cell structure and function are closely
related. It is apparent that a cell that is very thin is not well suited for a protective function. Bone cells
do not have an appropriate structure for nerve impulse conduction. Just as there are many cell types,
there are varied cell functions

The cell structure is defined by the cell membrane, the cytoplasm, and the nucleus. A cell is the
smallest unit of life and its structure helps it to work as the basic building block of biology.

The cell function is to keep all of the functions of the body performing as intended. This includes
keeping toxins out of the body, help to break down waste, make nutrients and act as barriers
within organelles.

4. The function of an organism is the result of the activities and interactions of constituents of the
cell.
Organism are made up of organs, ogans are made up of tissues tissues are made up of cells therefore
the interactions of cell give outcome to the tissue which further shows the results in organs and to
organ system and then to the body as a whole

A: and thats the postulate of cells
