ACTIVITY 2. PICTURE ANALYSIS

 Culture provides important social and economic benefits. With improved learning and
health, increased tolerance, and opportunities to come together with others, culture
enhances our quality of life and increases overall well-being for both individuals and
communities. Culture is the identity of a group of people living in specific place; they
have their own sketch of life what the culture says they follow that. We have seen
that a lot of people do some specific thing they first thought about their culture, what
my culture says on this occasion. Especially on the occasion of wedding, and some
other celebrating days they follow strictly their culture. Those who do not follow their
culture or do some changes in that, they haven’t given any values to them because
they are not following their religion.

 Society is one of the most integral part of our life. Among various infrastructure of life
society too is one of most under it. Without specific residing area and helping hands
around, life seems actually vey tough. Hence, the ultimate goal of society is to
promote good and happy life for its individuals. It creates conditions and opportunities
for the all-round development of individual personality. Society ensures harmony and
cooperation among individuals in spite of their occasional conflicts and tensions.
 Politics is the way that people living in groups make decisions. Politics is about making
agreements between people so that they can live together in groups such as tribes,
cities, or countries. It is very important to care about politics because you should
know what is going on around you. Also, it is important to have a say in what is going
on. Politics is simply a way of describing an art of solving a problem and creating a
solution that involves a variety of different opinion and interest. It’s important because
it tells us how a society must be setup and how one should act within a society. Also,
can be termed as a means of organizing a human community or an art of compromise
to achieve a certain end, like serving a general public. (which in practice is generally
found favorable) Our government and politics shape how we live and it is important to
become involved within our local government so that one can be aware about what’s
going on locally, nationally and worldwide.

ACTIVITY 3. THINK AND REFLECT

1. Why do you think is this subject/ course offered to Senior High School students?
 It provides a deeper understanding of how culture, human agency, society, and
politics work; and engage students in the examination of the country's current human
development goals.
2. Is it important for you know the concepts of culture, society, and politics?
 it is very important to understand the concept of culture society
and politics because these things please an important role in in one's life. in the
society you need to know about the behavior of a society and politics for the general
knowledge you need have the knowledge of general knowledge because you will get
to know about affairs going on and about your culture
3. As a student, hon can Anthropology, Sociology, and Political Science help you in your day-to-
day living?
 Sociology and anthropology involve the systematic study of social life and culture in
order to understand the causes and consequences of human action. This combination
also helps students to understand everyday social life as a blend of both stable patterns
of interaction and ubiquitous sources of social change.
V. REFLECTION

I have learned that culture, society and political are

- Studied it is comprised of a wide array of disciplines that studies the overall


function of a society, as well as with the interactions among individual members
of an institution.

I realized that the goal of Anthropology, Sociology, and Political Science are

- The goals of anthropology is to study the civilizations through different artifacts


and evidences. Sociology's goal is to understand the behavior of the society. While
Political Science's goal is to examine the system of politics and government in a
state.
Studying the culture, society and politics is important because

- By studying society, culture and politics maybe one will realize that we are
survivals of many thousand years of evolution, and such survival has improved
human being skills bestowed us many capabilities and still imposed us sever
limitations to our possibilities and chances.
