Language Vocabulary: Core: teacher, pupil, housewife, fireman, pilot. Extra: Grandpa, Grandma, meat, hero. Structures : Hes / Shes a teacher Is he/ she a teacher? Yes, he/ she is. / No, he/ she isnt.

Materials Class book , work book , CDs, story poster 4, jobs flashcards 46 - 50 VII. Procedure Teachers activities Lesson one : Words (50 minutes) Warm up ( 5 minutes) Let children watch some pieces of pictures about the places. Ask children Watch the pictures and guess the jobs Students activities

guess who works there. Lead in the new lesson. Use the flashcards 46-50 to introduce the vocabulary. Hold cards and say words. Ask children to repeat. Hold each card again and ask whos this?. And then ask them to fit the cards with the places in the warm-up part 1. Listen , point and repeat. (10 minutes) Ask children to open their class books and look at the job pictures. Play the recording for children to listen and point to the appropriate picture. Play the second part of the recording for children to repeat. Hold up the flashcards and ask individual children to say the words. 2. Listen and chant(10minutes) Play the recording for the children to listen to the chant Play the chant a second time for children to say the words and ask children to repeat. Ask children to close the book and encourage the class to say the chant from memory. Speak gradually fast. 3. Listen and read ( 20minutes) Use the story poster 4 to present the Listen to the chant and practice speaking Open the book and look at the pictures Listen to the recording and point to the picture Listen to the recording and repeat. Answer to Teacher Repeat the words Listen to Teacher Lead in (5 minutes)

Lesson two: Grammar( 50minutes) Warm up(5minutes) Invite children to come to the front of the class, give card and ask him/her to mimes for the class to guess the job. Lead-in : Hold up story poster 4 and ask what happened in the story? Can you remember the jobs? 1. Listen to the story again and repeat. Act. (5 minutes) Divide the class into groups of five. Each child chooses a different role. Children practice acting out the story. Monitor the activity, checking for correct pronunciation. 2. Look and say.(15minutes) Look at picture in turn and ask children what they can see. Copy sentences and questions onto the Listen to Teacher and answer Form groups and practise speaking Listen to Teacher and answer the question Listen to Teacher and do the task. Say and answer.(10 minutes) Model the dialogue with a child and then ask one pair to read the example. Describe another picture for children to say the number and then ask children to work in pairs and do the task. Follow up (5 minutes) Turn back to the story on page 28 of their class book. Describe the characters for their partners to guess the name.
