1. Deliveries of all materials will be through the designated loading bay area and will be
coordinated with SUMMERTOWN in advance. Shifting of material to the site store will be by
manual handling or trolleys.
2. Only the relevant material will be delivered to site without distributing emergency exits and
access/egress and followed by all safety measures.

3. The main contractor will be informed about our work schedule prior to commencing work.
4. All the protections for elevators and existing structures shall be provided by the main contractor.
5. All works on high level will be accessed through the use of mobile scaffold. Mobile tower shall
be erected/dismantled/inspected by trained person. Fibre mobile tower will be used for the work
within the electrical rooms.
6. All the noisy activities shall be conducted within the stipulated time every day and based on
land lord approval.
1. Materials used will be as per the material submittal approved by the engineer and routing as well as
sizes will be as per the approved drawings in co-ordination with other services.
2. Cable Trays, Trunking and Accessories shall be unloaded with care to avoid any damages. If they
are shipped in packs or pallets, each pack of pallet shall be lifted individually with suitable lifting
equipment. Every precaution shall be taken to preserve their cleanliness before installation.
3. To make sure that the entire installation is in conformance and in accordance with the design intent of
the project for the Electrical and Low Voltage System, in addition to the specification and approved
drawings, will comply with Local and International Standards.
4. Before beginning installation in any area, examine all parts of the adjoining work onto which
applicable work is to be placed. Should any condition be found, which will prevent the proper
execution of the work, installation shall not proceed in that area until such conditions are corrected by
the contractor.
5. Mobile towers shall be used for works for high level containments. Mobile scaffold should be erect
under the supervision of trained scaffold erector and a trained authorised scaffolding inspector shall
inspect the scaffolding and green tag shall be signed prior to start the work.
6. All routes are chosen to allow ease of access to all cables when installed. All horizontal cables
are to be set around all vertical rising services as necessary.
7. While using the disc cutter or hand grinder, the HOT WORK permit must be obtained from the
authority first.
8. The area where HOT WORK activity is to be carried out must be isolated by using appropriate
barriers and HOT WORK signage must be kept.
9. All the combustible materials at the work area must be removed and if any case any materials can’t
be removed; those materials must be covered by using FIRE BLANKETS.
10. An inspected fire extinguisher must be placed all the time at the work area throughout the activity.
11. The operative who is using the Disc cutter/Hand grinder must be trained on the safe work procedure
of the equipment and must be wearing a high impact FACE SHEILD MASK attached to his helmet,
LEATHER APRON and LEATHER HAND GLOVES also must be worn while engaging this cutting
activity.
12. Earth continuity conductors shall be provided across gaps in all Cable Tray / Trunking runs and

bolted connections.
13. Support shall be by means of steel brackets installed at intervals necessary to provide a rigid fixing
and to ensure that deflection does not exceed of support when fully loaded. Supports for Tray /
Trunking (spacing) shall be as per standard practice and manufacturer's recommendations
14. Additional support shall be provided where the Cable Tray / Trunking changes direction or cables
drop out of the cable tray. Dome headed bolts, nuts and washers of finish suitable to the tray shall be
used between trays.
15. Suspension sets comprise by hanger rods together with nuts and locking washers supports channel

corrosion protected by use of galvanized or equal.
16. All cable shall be securely fixed to the tray work and the complete installation must be carried out in a
neat and workmanlike manner without crossovers.
17. After completion of cable pulling through the trunking, cover all the trunkings using trunking covers.
18. Cables on face-up horizontally fixed tray must be secured by use of the tie wraps where not in view. If
cables are bunched or single cables greater than 25sq mm are installed, cleats or metal straps shall
be used.
19. All the power, lighting and low-voltage trays and trunkings should be labelled properly.
20. A visual inspection will be done by SQUARE FOUR’s Supervisors to ensure there are no damages to
equipment, pinched or damaged to material.
21. Rubbish to be cleared from site frequently by arranging approved scrap collection and disposal team.
