Expenation Letter

Ryan Hidayat wrote an explanation letter apologizing for his dependent family overstaying in the country due to a misunderstanding. He thought based on information from a visa officer that they could leave Malaysia for Umrah even with an expired visa and return to take care of their visa. However, after leaving for Umrah from September 11th to 23rd and taking care of his student visa until October 7th, he realized the visa officer's information was misunderstood. He is asking for forgiveness for this mistake due to miscommunication with the immigration official.

EXPLANATION

LETTER

I signed below:

Name : Ryan Hidayat

Nationality : Indonesian
Gender : Man
Date of birth : April 23, 1989
Passport Number : B4006167
Address : Lot 6183-F, Kg Sg Chinchin, Gombak, 53000, WP Kuala Lumpur.

I am writing this letter to appologize for my dependent family for overstaying in your
country, it is because I missunderstood the information of an immigration officer on the visa
unit.

At first I thought that I can leave malaysia for Umrah even though our visa expired date very
close. What I understood from visa officer at that time was that we could leave Malaysia for
Umrah, then come back again to Malaysia to take care our visa as soon as possible.

Thus, on 11 September we left Malaysia for Umrah and returned on the 23rd of the same
month. And then on the 24th I took care of my student visa. For that, I waited it to came out
until on october 7. After that I took care my dependent visa. But apparently what was meant
by the visa officer was different.

Therefore, for this misunderstanding, I hope your forgiveness.

Thank you.
