If you've fallen in love with the rich and varied world of Moroccan cuisine, this is the perfect opportunity to learn
how to cook up a storm on this half-day outing. You'll first spend about 15 minutes by coach to reach the cooking
school, after which class will begin. Watch the chef and follow instructions while you prepare and cook your very
own dish - with time to taste the fruit of your labour once you've finished. You'll return to the ship having gained
new culinary knowledge and with memories of a highly enjoyable self-cooked meal. Please note: the cooking

TGR03 - CAP SPARTEL & HERCULES CAVES SOMETHING

Spend a few hours off the ship discovering one of the best vantage points near Tangier and then one of the city's
most vibrant spots on a half-day tour that begins with a relaxing coach trip up to Cap Spartel, your first stop.
Situated a little to the west of Tangier at a height of about 300 m (1.000 ft.), the promontory of Cap Spartel
commands outstanding views of the Strait of Gibraltar, the link between the Atlantic Ocean and the
Mediterranean Sea. You will have some time to take photos before you head for Hercules Caves for a visit.
Legends say that Hercules rested in these caves after separating Gibraltar from Africa. After the visit, you will
proceed to a hotel for light refreshments. One of Tangiers time-honoured gems of which there are many in a city
that dates back to the 5th century B.C. is the Kasbah, your next stop. You will then go for a guided walk through
bustling lanes, narrow alleyways and the local fruit and vegetable market. Enjoy a guided visit of the Berber
pharmacy to get familiarized with local products used in Moroccan everyday life and then spend some time to
shop around the "Petit Socco" (meaning "Little Square"), a central square in Tangier's Medina. The short coach

Situated at the northern tip of Morocco on the Strait of Gibraltar, Tangier is a lively city, full of exotic scents,

Protected to the south and the west by the northern reaches of the mighty Rif Mountains and situated just inland
in a fertile valley of orange, almond and pomegranate orchards, the stunning city of Tétouan was founded in 1307
as a military defence in response to the Portuguese invasion of the nearby Ceuta, a Spanish enclave. After
boarding a coach at the port, you will then make the relatively short journey to Tétouan, after which youll get to
stretch your legs and enjoy a stroll through the picturesque Medina and the colourful souks. Youll also get to visit
the Bab Akla School for a chance to find out a little about traditional Moroccan arts and crafts, following which
some free time is scheduled for you to do some shopping. As a final highlight, the tour includes a traditional
folkloric show, during which you will be served a complimentary drink. The leisurely return journey by coach will
