Neo2 Zone-Slot Configuration Screen Overview
This overview pertains to the Zone/Slot Configuration Screen in the Altanium Neo2 operator interface.
Screen Overview:
The Zone/Slot Configuration screen is used to activate or remove zones from the software, configure the
thermocouple input type and set the current limit of the cards. It is password protected and is to be
accessed by Husky personnel only.

Key Descriptions:
Item Description
These keys represent each zone in the system and display certain values
1 Zone Keys
based on parameter that is displayed on the Zone/Slot Parameter key.
Touch this key to add or remove zones from the software. If a zone is active
Zone/Slot the Zone key will display the number of the zone and track the number of
2 Parameter Key – received (RX) messages from the card that the zone is assigned to. RX
ON/OFF messages from 0-5 will show up as red and those from 6-8 will be displayed
as green. To make a change, select the desired zone or zones and touch the

5 Select All Key Touch this key to select all the available Zone keys on the screen.

Parameter Key – key. To make a change, select the desired zone or zones and touch the T/C
T/C key to toggle between J (J-Type thermocouple, (+) Iron/ (-) Constantan)
and K (K-Type thermocouple, (+) Chromel/ (-) Alumel).

Item Description
Touch this key to change the amperage value displayed on the Zone keys.
This value represents the maximum amperage rating of the card in the
Zone/Slot system that a zone is assigned to. To make a change, select the desired
1 Parameter Key - zone or zones and touch the AMPS key to display a 10-key pop-up window.
AMPS In the 10-key pop-up, enter in the desired amperage value and touch the
Enter key. The range of values is from 0-30 amps. In systems that utilize XL-
Series cards (black heat sink); this value should always be zero.
