*We use There is with uncountable and singular nouns
Examples: There is money in my pocket. There is a red car.
*We use There are with plural nouns
Examples: There are pictures behind me. There are pencils in my bag.
Affirmative form: Affirmative form
There is money in my pocket. There are pictures behind me
Negative form Negative form
There isn´t money in my pocket There aren´t pictures behind me
Interrogative form Interrogative form
Is there money in my pocket? Are there pictures behind me?
*Present simple is a tense we use to talk about routines and habits.
Affirmative form structure: Subject/ verb in base form/ complement
Example: I live in Mty / she lives in Mty
Negative form structure: Subject/ auxiliary verb + not/verb in base form/ complement
Example: I don´t live in Mty/ She doesn´t live in Mty.
Interrogative form structure: auxiliary verb/ subject/verb in base form/ complement/?
Examples: Do I live in Mty? / Does she live in mty?
Remember the verbs in present simple change with HE, SHE and IT. You have to add S, ES or IES
Examples:
My mother drinks coffee.
He lives here
My dog plays with the ball
She watches the movie in the cinema.
Peter studies French.
*Wh questions translate them:
What____ Where______ What time______ Who______ Which______
