Trailer One:

Act 1.

1. Opening sequence
Adonis is standing in front of a building.
He is dressed in a black coat and formal attire, looking lost in thought.
The lighting is dark, its nighttime, and the only light coming are from the flashes of cameras.
Conversations replay of a female voice; she’s whispering something incoherent.
His thoughts interrupt her voice with “what was her name” between each of her statements.
A name is being said continuously in her whispering “Adonis, Adonis”

He is broken out of his haze when a reporter asks

“Adonis, how do you feel about the threat to your life?”
He then snaps his head to look directly into the camera.

2. Production logo
the production logo (seducere films) plays
The trailer music intensifies but is still somber

3. Character introduction
Adonis is walking through an office
Only his back shows
A colleague is approaching him and smiles broadly.
Adonis’ face is then shown as he smiles back and raises a hand in greeting.

Adonis then enters his office

He sees his manager and his competitor sitting around an office table
The camera pans to Adonis looking shocked but feigning a delighted face.
“What a surprise,” he exclaims
“Lovely as always to see you, Jim” he addresses his manager.
“Carl. Is it?” he asks his competitor.
“It’s Bazin, actually” His competitor retorts wincing yet lightheartedly.
“Right.” Adonis replies curtly.
“Congratulations on the promotion” Bazin tells Adonis.

The scene cuts to Adonis on his worktable months earlier

He’s hunched over a desk with paperwork.
His eyes are bleary and purple, and he palms his eyes aggressively
Before Adonis can thank him, Bazin says, “I guess they promote anyone these days,”
It is played as a voiceover.

The scene cuts back to the men in the office.

Bazin finishes with a laugh.
Adonis only smiles politely and looks to his manager
His manger returns the fake smile.

4. Establishing shot
Adonis is walking through the city
A voiceover plays of his manager.
“You need him around Adonis. People are going to kill for your position.”
Adonis replies, still as a voiceover, “Don’t spew your nonsense at me,” he continues,
“Do you have any idea who I am?” before stating “I’m untouchable now.”
5. Conflict
It is now nighttime; Adonis is at a bar.
The girl is about to speak, her face is concealed with chiaroscuro lighting.
Only her red lips are shown.
He receives a phone call from his manager.
He tells her “Hold that thought” before answering.

Only his back is shown as he takes the call.

Before he can get a word out his manager asks if he’s seen the news.
“Do you know what time it is right now?” Adonis retorts, clearly drunk.
“Sober up!” his manager yells,
“Someone has threatened your life, Adonis. On fu—, on damn television”
The camera then cuts to his face as he looks up.
Act 2.

1. Director and Establishing shots

“From the director of la femme fatale” shows over various shots of the city.
The shots slowly turn black and white.
The borders of the trailer very slowly narrow into a smaller format.

2. Plot and Protagonist

A narrative voiceover plays during this sequence, stating the news of the threat to his life.

“The following statement was sent anonymously to the precinct earlier this week.
The contents are not suitable for all ages.
Listener discretion is advised.

You cannot run or hide, Adonis.

I will follow you unseen and smother any spark of joy you find.
You will never know a breath of rest, a moment's peace of mind.
I swear I will slit you open.
You are a man of education.
You know there is no such thing as hell.
There is only me.
You are not wise enough to fear me as I should be.
I am coming for you Adonis, and I won’t do it quietly.”

Clips play of Adonis; the clips are fully black and white now.

It starts from his feet, tying his black shoelaces on his black shoes.
Then his slacks, from top to bottom.
The next is of his white shirt as he adjusts his suspenders.
A black vest follows.
Adonis puts on his black coat, like the way in la femme fatale.
The back of him is shown as he does this.
The entire setting is black and chiaroscuro.
Adonis finally puts on his black hat.
He looks at the camera before smirking.
The borders have finally set in the format of a film noir.

The screen goes black.

A second passes.
“I am in my own proper atmosphere.” Adonis says into the black screen.
Act 3.

1. ???
The first scene is of a blank wall.

It then cuts to Adonis hunched over his computer.

The camera only shows his face illuminated by the light of the screen.
His vigorous and quick typing can be heard.
It is still black and white.

2. New location and Plot

“There was a new person each month!” Adonis yells.
He is in a police confession room as he yells at the detective.

Three men are shown, all formally dressed up.

The same narrated voice from before states the name and reason of death for each.

The first one is of a new male character.

He lounges in a chair whilst a cigarette hangs from his fingers.
It abruptly changes to a shot of Adonis on his computer,
viewing a file about “Adeem Winchester” who died of lung cancer.

The second man is holding his arms out with a drink in out hand.
The scene then abruptly cuts to “Vain Lester”
who was found dead in his bathtub, cause of death is alcohol abuse.

The third man sits in his office, with his head in his hands.
The scene cuts to an article about “Tron Hester” who killed himself due to work overload.

“Those men were all partners of Bazin. Why weren’t autopsies ever done, detective?”
Adonis asks angrily, the scene cutting back to the interrogation room.
“You think you do my job better than me, boy?” the detective asks,
“This ain’t like your movies. These were not murders, just a ridiculous coincidence.
Matter of fact, your whole costume is damn ridiculous.”

3. Protagonist
Adonis has set up an entire drawstring on his wall,
The coloring is black and white except for the red string
The string connects various pictures and articles,
Mostly relating to Bazin.

4. Antagonist
“It’s normal to make enemies in this line of business, Adonis.”
The camera cuts to one of the pictures on Adonis’s wall, of Bazin.
Bazin’s voice can be heard over the scene.
“It’s nothing personal.”

The clip now cuts to Bazin as he and Adonis are face to face.
“If I wanted you dead…

The scene cuts to Bazin holding a gun to the camera

A bang goes off before the scene cuts back

“I would have already killed you.” He finishes.

5. Sequences
“Quit while you’re ahead, Adonis.
It’s just a harmless prank, I’m sure no one wants you dead.”

Bazin’s voice is played over a clip of Adonis running in the night.

His panting breaths can be heard along with another pair of footfalls.
He is being chased.

The screen goes black.

Adonis has stopped running.

The music has stopped, and he is panting.
He looks around as his chaser is no longer visible.

The screen goes black again.

An extreme close up shot shows Adonis’ eyes.

They are wide with terror as a shovel sound ricochets.

6. Title and screening

The film title is displayed without much animation.
It is presented in black and white but glitches into color.
The screening does not specify the date of release but only the month
The production logo and age rating are at the bottom.
