I. PROPOSAL BRIEF
e. Expected Output: The students will look decent and respectable ready to
go to school.
The parents will save the money for other expenses.
Moreover, the hair mats that are made from hair
clippings that would have gone to waste; these mats
absorb oil and clean our water.
II. RATIONALE
Every beginning of the school year, everybody is preparing their things, as well as
themselves. Aside from buying school supplies, one of the preparations is the proper
haircut. School supplies are important, but so is the student’s grooming. Proper
haircuts develop good grooming that contribute to each student to always look
presentable and appropriate. Haircut policy somewhat limits the freedom of self-
expression they have in school, but it encourages and instills them the values of good
grooming and gentlemanliness.
In preparation for the Quarterly Examination and in strong support with the
DepEd Service Manual (DECS) and Division Change Plan: Naga Thrives, some
students of Grade 12-Macchiato of Leon Q. Mercado High School in partnership with
TLE department and LQMHS Alumni will offer a FREE Haircut Services for the
students. These initiatives shall embody the spirit of volunteerism, collaboration and
bayanihan among our partners. These partnership initiatives with various
stakeholders shall create a safe and engaging learning environment for the learners,
faculty and staff, and the community in preparation for the Quarterly Examination
this School Year 2022-2023 and for the achievement of quality Basic Education
despite the challenges of the current situation brought by the pandemic.
III. OBJECTIVES
1. To prepare the students by enhancing the beauty of girls, and especially the boys,
for having the appropriate haircut in school,
2. To help the parents save money and make it easier for them to control their
finances,
3. To build a sense of belonging and diminish class inequalities among students,
4. To promote cleanliness and neatness,

IV. METHODOLOGY
This activity will start at nine in the morning and will end at 4 in the afternoon
every quarter before examination. Some students of grade 12-Macchiato shall then
be given their specific tasks for on-site registration, documentation,Page 1 ofand
layout, 4
printing of certificates, monitoring and evaluation with consolidation and
interpretation of results, hall preparation and restoration, and medical services.
The participants must first register at the grade 12-Macchiato stall at the
pavilion. After the haircut, the assigned students will give them a form to know their
feedbacks, comments, and reactions. Additionally, the students of grade 12-
Macchiato will express gratitude by giving certificates to the alumni who volunteered
and supported the free haircut.
V. ACTIVITY MATRIX

for quality assurance.
