Currently, most youth enjoy using their


cellular phones and connecting to the
internet. We saw advertisements online in
just one swipe. Different bloggers highly see
such endorsements in social media and the
online world.Media and information makes
our life easier when we need to search
something and the answers just pop out in the
Google app. Specifically, in our education, like
if we need to do our research as a senior high
school student. Also, in some cases when we
need to do something but we don’t know how
to then we would search tutorials or the
instructions that could teach us easily and
effectively.

Most of the generation now uses


smartphones in education. With just one click,
you may learn various topics in different
languages. But language is particularly in
English and not our primary language,
Tagalog. Also, some videos online might show
the youth that it is restricted if there is no
guidance from a guardian.Media and
information technology helps the government
to disseminate the information in relation to
the politics to the people for them to be
informed on the current situations or issues
there is. It’s like media is the eyes and ears of
the government for the people the
government serves to.
It opens more job opportunities for
the applicants in relation to the
digital jobs such as animators and
social media marketing. Also, many
influencers and vloggers are getting
paid for their contents posted in
social media platforms such
YouTube. In addition, many of us
gets paid through ads in the
contents we are watching.
It helps the students and teachers
to search for the app or tools that
is/ are suitable for them to use and
could help them effectively to learn
through the app or tools, providing
them the flexible time they wanted
to. For example, we can apply a
course online and finish it while
doing other things such as work
and studying.

It helps us to have a common


knowledge about certain things like
it persuade us to accept new
norms that are present now in our
society. For example, the show
‘’Greatest Showman’’ spreads the
awareness of having diversity to
the genders there is like to
encourage us to accept the Lgbtq
community.
It helps us to unite to bring about
social change in our society. For
instance, it could lead and form a
group that supports a specific issue
in our society that would help to
bring change in our society like
when it comes to garbage, the
National Environment Agency
come up with a program called
Clean and Green to protect and
take good care our environment.
