COURSE DESCRIPTION :
The course covers social and professional responsibility. It Introduces the important considerations relating to ethical
and professional issues. It provides an overview of the concepts, principles, and practices on how to manage social and professional issues in IT. It
introduces students to ethical issues such as property rights, freedom of expression, privacy, and Professional Codes of Conduct. It also equips
students with tools for critical reasoning in order to construct and analyze Ethical issues and problems in the business and the corporate world. It
aims to provide an understanding of social and professional issues in modern society. It also discusses the different law and ethics that govern the IT
industry.
