Objective/Message: Some members of the family manage the home.

Arrival Time (10 mins)- Period of individual, peer or group exploration of the different play areas or activity centers in the
classroom while waiting for the other children to arrive.

Reference: NKCG p.237, Teacher’s Guide

Materials: projector, playdoh and pictures, charts, worksheets

Values: Help mother in different house chores.

Questions: Review
Ask: Who manage your home?

Assessment Instruction: The teacher asks the learners to tell the things that mother do at home.

Work Period 1:

Teacher Supervised: Chart of Household Chores

Independent Activities:
1. Spot Letter Nn
2. Writing Letter Nn
3. Letter Lacing Nn
4. Letter Mosaic Nn

Assessment Instruction: The teacher checks if the learners can follow simple instruction.

Meeting Time 2: Poem: “Dito na si Ina”

Questions/Activity: Ask: What are the things that your mother does at home?
Do you help you mother in household chores?

Recess/Quiet Time: 25 mins.

Story Time: “Superwoman ang Mommy”

Assessment: The teacher observes the learner’s behavior during the Story time and asks about the characters and lesson of the
story.

Teacher Supervised: Song: “It’s A Match”

Independent Activities:
1. Writing Numeral (0-3)
2. Kite Counting
3. Ice Cream Time
4. Playdough (3)

Assessment Instruction: The teacher checks if the learners can identify numeral 3.

Indoor/Outdoor Games: hey Mother, Catch Me.


Assessment: The teacher observes if the learners can participate in class activity.

Meeting Time 3: Teacher and learners recite the closing prayer.


Assessment: The teacher asks the learners to name the family member who manage their home.
