ion: The findings show that there is insufficient data to establish that there is
a difference in terms of enjoyment between the two distinct flavored beverages. Since there
is no difference in the level of enjoyment of the beverages, the research team must focus on
promoting the flavor of each one equally. In comparison to the old flavoring, which appears
to be a cult favorite, the result simply means that the new flavoring had no lasting and
extreme impact. Furthermore, the leading beverage should contain a variety of flavors so
that it can be determined whether the participants' flavor preferences have an impact on
their enjoyment or satisfaction. Overall, the research team should consider undertaking
customer surveys in order to produce a taste of a new flavor in line with the majority’s
preferences.

2. Two medical researchers looked into the effectiveness of a treatment for hypertension
or high blood pressure. In a clinical trial, 45 patients with hypertensions were randomly
assigned to either Group A (placebo control or Group B (treatment); and were closely
monitored for three months. After which, the researchers measured and recorded the
changes in the blood pressure of the patients in each group. The summary of the results
is shown below. Assuming unequal variance and at .01 level of significance, is there
evidence of significant difference on the change in blood pressures of the two groups of
patients?

ation:
ion: According to the findings, there is a substantial difference in blood
pressure changes between the two groups of patients. The difference in blood pressure
between the two groups of patients can be deemed a positive result of the researchers'
clinical trial. This study aided in the discovery of a potential therapy for hypertension (high
blood pressure). However, the treatment should undergo more test to be deemed a
"treatment" for hypertension. Other conditions or illness of the sample patients should also
be included as a variable for it may or may not affect the results. Therefore, researchers
should also concentrate on putting this therapy trial into practice, as the results of the two
groups can be used as a reference point in the future.
