1. Describe Lam-ang and Ines Kannoyan according to:
a. Their physical appearance
Lam-ang is being adored by people because he already possessed maturity,
physically and mentally at a young age. Also, he is a good looking and
masculine man that attracts everyone's eyes while Ines is a beautiful maiden
comes from a rich family. Her face is gorgeous and she also has a white skin
that attracts boys in their place.

b. What other characters say about them


The other characters said that Lam-ang is feared by people because he has an
extraordinary power. He is also strong and when it comes to love, he will do
everything. On the other hand, other characters said that Ines Kannoyan is a
simple woman who wants a partner that can protect and loved her, even he is
poor or not.

c. Their perception of love and honor as implied in the story


Lam-ang will do everything to prove how dedicate he is. He can take all the risk
for his love ones. While Ines Kannoyan is being wise in choosing her future
husband. Their loved is hard to possess but in the name of love, Lam-ang
didn't give up. It is the perception of love and honor of Lam-ang and Ines.

2. What supernatural elements were present in the story?


In the story, Lam-ang can talk just after his birth. He is born with powers that
makes him a hero. Also, when Lam-ang was killed by berkakan, a shark, his
unbelievable animal brought back his life again. Those are the supernatural
elements presents in the story.

3. Cite some customs and traditions still being practiced today.


When Lam-ang searched his father, the epic shows the importance of family
which is still being practiced as of now. Also, when he takes all the risk just for his
loveones to prove his worth, it is how Filipinos fight for their love nowadays

answer.
No because it depends on the man and the situation. On how he will act on every
moment, on how he will be a man when it comes to love or anything that
challenge him. It is his decision to make because it can mean his life. Also, some
practices change as time passes by.

5. What is the main idea of the story Biag ni Lam-Ang?


The main idea of the story is all about the courage and bravery of Lam-ang in
overcoming different challenges. He did everything to survive and to be loved by
Ines Kannoyan.

6. Would you consider Lam-ang as an Ilocano hero? Explain.


Yes because Lam-ang protected the town of Nalbuan from colonization of Igorots.
Also, he possessed the characteristics and quality of a true Ilocano. He used his
powers to kill the enemy and to protect his loveones

7. What marvelous acts did lam-ang show in the story?
Lam-ang can speak just after he was born and has an extraordinary powers. He
also killed the Igorots by using his spears and tried to catch the "rarang", a
shellfish. Those are the marvelous acts of the main character.

When Lam-ang slays all the Igorots with his spear and mutilates the last among
them is the savage way of punishing a captured enemy depicted in the story.

One of the Christian beliefs showed in the story is having a Catholic wedding
where Lam-ang and Ines take the role.

In the story, hunting animals is being used by a tribe to survive. They also killed
their enemy to protect themselves.

The importance of family is the custom of a tribe that the story demostrate, it is
where Lam-ang search his father and avenge his father’s death.
