Course Description:

The course discusses the key principles of International Political Economy and its relevance to the social and economic development of contemporary societies.
It aims to provide students an understanding of the conditions that influence the organization and allocation of the factors of production in nation states. It examines
the relationship between the market and the state, and aims to provide possible answers to the question why some countries are rich and some are poor.
