The design of this product contains special hardware and many circuits and components specially for safety purposes. For continued protection, no changes should be made to the original design unless authorized in writing by the manufacturer. Replacement parts must be identical to those used in the original circuits. Services should be performed by qualified personnel only. 2. Alterations of the design or circuitry of the product should not be made. Any design alterations of the product should not be made. Any design alterations or additions will void the manufacturer's warranty and will further relieve the manufacture of responsibility for personal injury or property damage resulting therefrom. 3. Many electrical and mechanical parts in the products have special safety-related characteristics. These characteristics are often not evident from visual inspection nor can the protection afforded by them necessarily be obtained by using replacement components rated for higher voltage, wattage, etc. Replacement parts which have these special safety characteristics are identified in the Parts List of Service Manual. Electrical components having such features are identified by shading on the schematics and by (4) on the Parts List in the Service Manual, The use of a substitute repalcement which does not have the same safety characteristics as the recommended replacement parts shown in the Parts List of Service Manual may create shock, fire, or other hazards. 4, The leads in the products are routed and dressed with ties, clamps, tubings, barriers and the like to be separated from live parts, high temperature parts, moving parts and/or sharp ‘edges for the prevention of electric shock and fire hazard. When service is required, the original lead routing and dress should be observed, and it should be confirmed that they have been returned to normal, after re-assembling. 5. Leakage currnet check (Electrical shock hazard testing) After re-assembling the product, always perform an isolation check on the exposed metal parts of the product (antenna terminals, knobs, metal cabinet, screw heads, headphone jack, contorl shafts, etc.) to be sure the product is safe to operate without danger of electrical shock Do not use a line isolation transformer during this check, '* Plug the AC line cord directly into the AC outlet. Using a “Leakage Current Tester", measure the leakage current from each exposed metal parts of the cabinet , particularly any exposed metal part having a return path to the chassis, to a known good earth ground. Any leakage current must not exceed 0.5MA AC (r.m.) © Altemate check method Plug the AC line cord directly into the AC outlet. Use an AC voltmeter having, 1,000 ‘ohms per volt or more sensitivity in the following manner. Connect a 1,5000 10 W resistor paralleled by a 0.15 uF AC-type capacitor between an exposed metal part and a known good earth ground. AC VOLTMETER Measure the AC voltage across the resistor avery with the AC voltmeter. Shmshots, Move the resistor connection to each exposed oF mote sensitivity) metal part, particularly any exposed metal part having a ‘return path to the chassis, and 15 46 AC TYPE| meausre the AC voltage across the resistor. Now, reverse the plug in the AC outlet and Place this tepeat each measurement. Any. voltage Probe on measured must not exceed 0.75 V AC (rms). 15000 10 metal part This corresponds to 0.5 mA AC (r.m.s.). Good earth ground Warning 1. This equipment has been designed and manufactured to meet international safety standards. 2. It is the legal responsibility of the repairer to ensure that these safety standards are maintained, 3. Repairs must be made in accordance with the relevant safety standards. 4. It is essential that safety critical components are replaced by approved parts. 5. If mains voltage selector is provided, check setting for local voltage. 1-2 (No. 20394) SE-MXG7BK Block Diagram 020 ‘annowuns vo wIWuONYE 4 ¥ xnav Aa eze~izes, 6te~Loes OE” EOE souany) up 1s £08~£080 anup a7 z910'e020} tot zar'ised 2 ier oot | 1vinyHONYs TORINOD Am 193483 zim Isiot Writ vas (No. 20394) 1-3 NOIOW34 ONO ‘90 HN Was 13534 V35 ds A@LOXW- 8cOXW wou ‘SE-MXG7BK Description of ICs HEMN171602JHI(1C301) : System controller MN171602,PV is for universal and Taiwan versions, ~ and the same layout as MN171602JHI. 1.Terminal Layout 2.Key matrix a> e]ec KEY INO KEY INT KEY IN2 ale She % = MANU = BR als cil a PROG PERSONAL st Sle 7 TARAORE RAT GM als la 3 ‘SEA DISPLAY RELAX aie 5 fe ve SURROUND DEMO exe su fre salva hd GAME CARD ale 2 [bem % Disco MEMORY PHONE: sa]a ‘alee "YO~Y9 are the outputs of the shift register 1C302. usa |e Sreow? 3.Terminal_ Description eat in [EST symbot lol Funetion [85 | symeor [ro Function | T = Power Spa 35 ee [0 Rey matic pat z 3 Segment control Scns [| tndiation control for “PANORAMA t 3 Segment control '5_[ sercon_[O | Control for PANORAVA SURROUND’ tz @ Segment control {[36-[-ssecont[0 | Control for PANORAWA SURROUND” 5 3 Segment control vezoata TO Data for ea 1 & to Segment control 3B] nae [O Clock Yor data transmission 7 io Segment control 35] me fo Thip swlecesignal a 18 Segment control AO[ sce [| Clock Tor data transmission TOIeST iz 3 Seament contior Af snmp SP data from 1251 (ops Tet Segment control AZ| svar 10 Tonerol data for i251 Dirt —fo Segment control aE] wir [0 Reset signal 1 [2p—si—To Segment control 4a “oworr [1 power om 1 Dae Segment control 2S [ seuocon [1] —Ramote control ignat pat} tar Segment control a6{ wm [if Tnhibit signal input 1 Bp oa fo Segment antral fart ean To Tampulink signal neue) He} —To Segment control FB] oar} Computink gral output frt-s~Te Segment control 5_[ iowa [O | ~Tadeation contol for "KARAOKE TS [wr [=| Power supply Torti dipiay [SO] mune [0 Source direst on Peo Segment control ST [ eosin | O| Indication contol for SEA t ra Segment contol 32 [izouaswat[O | Indication contra for "MANUAL (2 30 o ‘Segment control 33 viz) o Indication control for # display Dexter Te Segment control 3a [ nT 0 Indieation contrat for dpa aoe fe Segment contiol 35-[ vie [0] — indication control for fap 2a To Segment control 6] a TO} end controiney matin output Tose Segment control 37» TO] Grid contraikey matror output 25 = o ‘Segment control 3B 7 oO Grid controlKey matrix output fo Segment contol 35 —o [Oo] — Grid controiney matrix output fo Segment control 80] = Connected to GND i [0 Segment conv r[ a Non connection 4 [Soe fo nsiation control for A 62 [f= ‘Gh (ieee Key matic put oer Siiiation terminal arte Te Key matic input 68] ona f= Grcilation terminal 1-4 (No. 20394) WTC74HC42AP(IC302): BCD-Decimal code decoder SE-MXG7BK 1.Terminal 2.function Table Layout BCD input Decimal code output bo | c | 8 | A | YO| vi | ¥2 | v3 | Ya | ¥5 | Ve | V7 | Ye | ¥9 f tre {ce {e]{tyayayealalalalafala lk cyefefHfa]etH}a}alala}adada E clefafcfafalclalalalalelalda s cyetHlafalalas}eleyalafalada f cfafefefalatatateyalalalala ls LpH}efajalalataf}ayelafafada LyH}H{efalaHl a ata yale fafa da L{H}H{H]alal a a} A} ala ela da H}epetefala}afafata tata foal H]eletHt[HtataHtat etait a tata H[x]atx]H|H|H]|H{ATHTATH]H]A Hiatx[x[H}Hlatetatajatatala W8U40538(IC1 11): 2CH “Multiplexer 1.Terminal Layout 2internal Block Diagram a vif “aq voo = pay yok 13)¥ : switehing nb ux zh 13] x1 z0|s 12) xo bs wh feof, verf ile ° vss fa fc e n Table Control input " ON channel » wi | c fo [a cp. ye ye 70,¥0.%0 a cf. fea 20,¥0,X1 Cpe pee 20.¥1.X0 cp. t#]« 20,11 cfpefete 71, ¥0,x0 cfeyilya 21,¥0.x1 Cc Z1.Y1,X0 a ZiYUXI i ee NONE LAN6873N(IC303, 304): Inverter for FL drive Layout Terminal 1817 1615 1413 1211 10 123456789 (No.20394) 1-5 SE-MXG7BK XR 1097CP (C251) : internal Block Diagram 1 y Oscillator Clock lgenerater| channel graphic equalizer filter with A/D converter ea BF p[Peak Hold Teonz 6pF Lh gl Peak Hold cuKrR > ii cue ‘Anti > Areasing filter ‘200K?
