The National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDC) invites sealed bids from eligible firms licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council for the replacement of a 500kV transmission line from Tower Location No. 8A to NKI Grid Station (approx. 24km) and modification of an existing interconnection scheme. The bidding documents, containing the terms and conditions, can be obtained from the Chief Engineer (Material Procurement and Management) at the Shaheen Complex in Lahore by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5000. Completed bids must be submitted by January 9th, 2023 at 11:00 AM and will be opened at 11:30 AM the same day.

TENDER NO. TLC-21-2022

REPLACEMENT OF COMPLETE CONDUCTOR, OPGW, SHIELD WIRE,


HARDWARE & INSULATORS OF OLD 500KV SINGLE CIRCUIT HUB-NKI T/LINE
FROM TOWER LOCATION NO. 8A TO NKI GRID STATION (APPROX. 24KM) AND
MODIFICATION OF EXISTING INTERCONNECTION SCHEME OF K2 T/LINE
WITH HUB-NKI T/LINE INCLUDING CIVIL WORKS, DISMANTLING AND
ERECTION OF TO\^rERS

1. National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDC) "the Employer",


intends to get the Works done for Contract No. TLC-21-2022 through NTDC own
resources. The Scope of Works includes Replacement of Complete Conductor,
OPGW, Shield Wire, Hardware & Insulators of Old 500kv Single Circuit HUB-
NKI T/Line from Tower Location No. 8A To NKI Grid Station (Approx. 24km)
and Modification of Existing Interconnection Scheme of K2 T/Line with HUB-
NKI T/Line Including Civil Works, Dismantling and Erection of Towers.

2. The Employer invites sealed bids from eligible firms or persons licensed by the
Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category for the above scope of
Works. National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with
PEC Single Stage-Two Envelope (SSTE) procedure,

2. Price of the biddingdocuments is Rs. 5000/-, the method ofpaymentwill be by a


non-refundable fee in form of bank draft from any scheduled bank of Pakistan in
favour of Chief Engineer (MP&M) NTDC. The doouments may be collected in person
or may be sent by express airmail for an additional fee of Rs. 2,000/- for domestic
delivery, the documents may be sent by courier services. No liability will be
accepted for loss or late delivery in such case. The document can also be
downloaded from NTDC website www.ntdc.com.Dk free of cost, however the
purchase of document is mandatory for participation.

3. The bids, prepared in accordance with the instructions in the bidding documents,
must reach at above address on or before O9th|anuary 2023 at 11:00 AM PST.
Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. This advertisement is also available
on PPRA and NTDC websites (www.DDra,org.Dk & www.ntdc.com.pk).

NTDC reserve all its rights regarding rejection of bids as defined in Clause 33(1) of
PPRA Rules 2004.
