The deadlines for admission are:

Fall deadline-May 1st


Spring deadline-October 1st

For admission to the Executive MBA (EMBA) Program, allow at least two (2) weeks for processing once
the completed application packet has been received.

1. Email [[email protected]] or call [713-790-7283] Dr. Gin Chong for the Program’s guidebook.
In your email, attach your resume and a copy of your unofficial transcript for a preliminary
evaluation, and arrange for a face-to-face, phone or a virtual [Zoom or Team Meet] interview.
2. Create an account with BusinessCAS [www.BusinessCAS.org].
3. Upload all your support documents on your BusinessCAS account. Email the customer support
team at [email protected] for technical difficulty in uploading your documents.
4. Request your alma mater for the eTranscripts to email it to Ms. Adams [[email protected]]
directly, or mail the hard copy to:

Process and items needed to complete your application process


(a) BusinessCAS [www.BusinessCAS.org]: log in, complete your details, and upload the
following items.
(b) Your current résumé: indicates your measurable contributions and inputs to your
unit/organization.
(c) Official transcripts of each of your university or colleges attended
(d) Personal statement: A two-page, double-spaced personal statement summarizing the
Reasons for choosing PVAMU EMBA and how will the degree help advance my career goals
(approx 1,000 words). Discuss your past situations and present positions that lead you to
enroll on this Program, address on how EMBA degree would help you achieve your short
and long-term goals. Provide a problem-solving activity that you were involved as a member
of a team and how you have contributed to the solutions.
(e) Three letters of recommendation: two letters to confirm your minimum of three years of
managerial, leadership or supervision experiences (as a project manager, district manager,
supervisor, superintendent), and the third letter to verify your credentials (attitudes,
reliability, integrity and etiquette). The first two letters should come from your current or
past employers, supervisors or peers, and bear the firm’s or organization’s letterhead or
official stationery with the referees’ signatories, job titles and contact details [email and
phone numbers]. The third letter could come from your peer or professional contact.
