SCRIPT for DEBUT

Good Afternoon ladies and gentlemen. I am Mr. Cirilo T. Macanang I


will be your host for tonight (afternoon, these event). And before we
start our program, may I request everyone to please stand and let’s hear
an opening prayer to be led to us
by______________________________.
Good afternoon to all of us. Welcome to LANGUIAN’S RESIDENCE,
NANARIAN PENABLANCA. Welcome to the PARTY of our
charming debutant who is now turning into a fine lady. This is quite a
very important event in her life and she is very much honor for your
presence. Like Wendy in the movie Peter Pan, no more fairy tale stories
every night. She is now a real lady as she stepped onto the much higher
level of what we call LIFE. Ladies and gentlemen, sit back as we
groove, jive and enjoy her party for this afternoon.

We are gathered here this afternoon to witness the transformation of a


young girl to a beautiful lady. We are very lucky for we are chosen to be
here and be part of this momentous occasion in the debutant's life. You
see her grow up. You see her smile. You see her laugh. You see her
everything. And now you are about to see her as a grown-up lady. A
lady of good heart, character and ambition.

An 18th birthday marks almost the steps from youth to young


adult, with all its relative responsibilities. Join us as we celebrate this
wonderful girl's coming of age. Let us all celebrate as our girl becomes a
full-bloomed lady tonight, as our girl turns 18.
And now, it is my honor to present to you the ______________ family,
and lets begin with
Mr. Gilbert Languian the debutants eldest brother, Paynic Languian and
Ramil Languian and Aex Languian the debutants younger brother,
and of course our very proud parents MR.MILO LANGUIAN
and MRS. TOPIA LANGUIAN.

ENTRANCE OF THE DEBUTANT


In a land not so far away, there was once a little girl with a beauty of
an angel. Born on September 10 year of 2000, this girl is the
YOUNGER daughter among the children of MR. MILO LANGUIAN
and MRS. TOPIA LANGUIAN.
She grew up with so much love and kindness. She is loved by
everybody for her beauty inside and out. Her voice is an angel. Her
smile bears no limit. Her heart is unafraid. Her mind is ready to try.
She's ready for any adventure for the sake of fun and friendship. More
refined than shy, more adventurous than playful, more charismatic than
charming, more alluring than beautiful. Indeed, she has all grown up and
what a sight she has become.
Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce to you the debutant. Let us all
welcome our dazzling lady of the night, MS. MILDRED LANGUIAN.

WELCOME MESSAGE
Before we proceed to the main part of the occasion, let us first give this
moment to the people who made all these a success: from the planning
to the execution, for the foods, the details of the party. Without these
people, this event would not be possible. May i call in the proud parents
of our debutant, MR. MILO LANGUIAN and MRS. TOPIA
LANGUIAN to give and share to us their commitment to their loving
daughter. Maam, sir.

SPECIAL DANCE
let us now proceed to the most important part of this should we call it
rituals of turning 18? Let us now acknowledge one of the most loved and
important persons in Mildred’s life. This time to dance with her, let’s
welcome her father Mr. MILO, Mildred’s loving father will be followed
by Mildred’s 18 gentlemen who will offer to her roses that symbolize
love. Love which Pamela Bianca has for her family and all the people in
her life. Let us start with

18 BACHELORS

Flowers often symbolize degrees of love and affection, but they can
also send a variety of messages. Messages of forgiveness, purity,
modesty, hope, beauty and love.
The 18 roses signify 18 very special gentlemen in the life of the
debutant, like her friends, relatives, brothers, boyfriend and of course we
can never forget the father for he is always the first or last dance.
To begin with, let us call all the gents to gather on the side
for the smooth flow of the program. As your name is called, it is your
chance to offer a flower and to dance with the debutant.

18 CANDLES
Let us now have the 18 Lights. Candle often reveal a sense of mystery
and supernatural guidance. It symbolizes security as it may
illuminate circumstances. It may also signify 18 significant people in our
celebrant's life who serve as her guide as she grows up. These are also
the people who care for her and love her unconditionally.
As you hear your name, please be on stage, light your candle and give a
brief message or birthday wish for MILDRED
Lets start with………………….

18 TREASURES
Let us now proceed to the 18 treasures. It doesn’t matter how
expensive, how elegant or how precious the gift is, what matters most is
the thought, the value and the essence that the gift contains. These gifts
are significant to the debutant and that she will truly treasure these for
the rest of her life.
To start, let us have _____________________.

18 BALLOONS
Balloons have many metaphorical meanings. Balloons can be used to
describe both holding on and letting go.

18 BLUE BILLS
Of course, these people will be the ones who will give her advices and
kind words along the way on how to become a perfect woman.

TOAST FOR A SUCCESSFUL LIFEE


The wine symbolizes commitment and triumph. Mildred is considered
victorious because she is able to reach the debutant age and it is a great
time for this kind of celebration. To toast with her the wine for a long-
lasting victory of her life, let us all call in the following special persons
who are in one way or another became a part of her life through thick
and thin, ups and downs, right and wrong and sometimes good and bad
times of life. Once again, Mildred’s Family to be with here for the wine
toast. (O hai yo)

"Happy Birthday Mildred! Let us give 18 claps for Mildred. Thank you
very much. You can now blow your 18 candles and make a wish. It is
now time to cut the cake. As Mildred has reached the age of maturity,
she will now cut the cake and give a portion to her parents as a symbol
of her love and gratefulness to them."
