The document discusses the anatomy and functions of the human ear. It describes the three main parts of the ear - the outer, middle, and inner ear. The outer ear collects sound waves and directs them through the ear canal to the eardrum, which separates the outer and middle ear. The middle ear contains three small bones that transmit vibrations to the inner ear. The inner ear is responsible for hearing and balance. The Ears
Your ears are organs that detect and analyze sound. Located
on each side of your head, they help with hearing and balance.
Your ears are on either side of your head, directly over your
temporal lobe. This part of your brain is responsible for
hearing, speech, memory and some emotion.
The three main parts of your ear include the outer ear, middle
ear and inner ear. Your tympanic membrane (eardrum)
separates your outer ear and middle ear.
