Turnitin Submission Guide

How to Upload Answer Sheet via Turnitin (Plagiarism Checker) in myPLS

Step 1: Go to ‘TAKE-HOME FINAL EXAMINATION’ and click on Turnitin Link provided in


myPLS

Step 2: Click on Turnitin accept agreement as shown below. You must accept the latest Turnitin
User Agreement before you can make a submission by click ‘I agree’
Step 3: Click ‘Submit Paper’ icon.

Step 4: Pop up page for Submit Paper,


a. Enter Submission Title as EXAMPLE: EIT632 FUNDAMENTALS OF INSTRUCTIONAL
TECHNOLOGY
b. Click ‘Files’ icon to attach assignment/ project paper/ dissertation or thesis file to be
upload.
c. Select ‘Choose File’ and then Click ‘Upload this file’
d. Tick ‘Declaration’ & lastly Click ‘Add Submission’
Notes: TURNITIN report will be available within a few minutes after the first submission and 24
hours for second & subsequent submission.
Step 5: The similarity Report of answer exam paper will be shown here. Student can view the
details of the report by Clicking at the percentage (%).

Step 6: Check Match Overview by click at the percentage to check match overview of your
report.
Step 7: Download the report and submit to link provided in ‘TAKE-HOME FINAL
EXAMINATION’.

Click ‘Download’ icon and then Click ‘Current View’ to download Turnitin Report and it will auto
save to your computer.
