Task 1: “Essay on The Impact of Covid-19 on Health, Economic
and Social care”
Introduction
During the period 30 January 2020, the World Health Organization expressed the outbreak of
public health emergency on an international basis due to exposure of Covid-19 virus. This
outbreak disrupted the whole economic and social stability in a devastating manner. Along
with health, it also initiates a crisis level for employees mainly that results in a declining
approach for standard of living (Loomba et al., 2021). Along with declining the position of
GDP level, the overall marketing performance of most organisations declined which
impacted negatively over the socio-economic position of the UK. This essay mainly
highlights the impact of Covid-19 on the United Kingdom during the pandemic.
Discussions
With the rapid enhancement of the number of deaths in the United Kingdom, the government
of the UK announced the first phase of lockdown on the period of 23rd march 2020. During
that time period, the overall volume of death range was around 200 to 250, which increased
on a rapid basis. With the engagement of this lockdown initiative a significant volume of
declining approach was initiated regarding GDP volume that declined the level by 9% in
gross. This declining approach also impacted negatively over the employment structure on a
non-optimised basis (Kim and Asbury, 2020). With the presence of this crisis, a significant
volume of difficulties over employment was also initiated that influenced a negative
approach. As per the present statistical analysis in the society of the UK, mainly the crisis has
been initiated regarding three different aspects. The first crisis is mainly noticed in corporate
agencies, where due to the lockdown initiatives overall work engagement volume
significantly declined and the volume of termination or layoffs rapidly expanded (Keogh-
Brown et al., 2020). Associated with the same approach, the second crisis mainly initiated
regarding public-associated jobs like bartenders and amusement park employees that also
closed due to lockdown initiatives. Including the same, the third economic crisis was initiated
regarding IT-related jobs as the overall projects and revenue approach significantly declined
due to non-optimised performance presence.
Associated with the present engagement, the covid crisis also impacted dramatically on the
healthcare industry which created a significant volume of social challenges in the UK. At the
time of the first wave around one-third of the UK population was able to manage healthcare
support on an effective basis (Luppi et al., 2020). With the release of this crisis, the
4
government of the UK initiated a special scheme supported by the presence of the NHS in
order to provide a sustainable volume of covid related health care approaches on an effective
basis. With the processing of this mainly a proper financial arrangement was initiated so that
the level of sustainability regarding both public and private healthcare can be initiated (Choi
et al., 2020).

With the presence of this graphical presentation, a detailed understanding regarding the
impacts of covid on healthcare has been initiated that indicates the rapid increasing approach
mainly. It also indicates the volume of primary death increasing position as well that creates a
devastating state during the covid period (Crawley et al., 2020).

Applied the impacts of this crisis also noticed over the economy of UK where the GDP
volume non-stabilised in the present circumstances also. Due to this outbreak, the overall
economic level significantly declined which influenced the level of unemployment also.
Along with the unemployment rate, the general volume of standard of living also declined at
that moment which imposed a significant volume of crisis mainly. Along with the economic
variance, the overall marketing structure of the economy also declined, imposing a recession
breakdown mainly (Hu, 2020). During this period the overall volume of unemployment rate
increased to 5.1% which generally imposed a significant volume of labour market crisis
mainly. Due to this, the level of production declined and industrial development was also not
formulated on an effective basis.

Due to the outbreak of the covid crisis, the engagement of social distancing and wearing
masks became a mandatory approach, which is initiated by the government in order to
manage healthy support on an optimised basis. Including the same approach, a significant
volume of changes regarding the standard of living position was initiated that declined the
level of mental satisfaction vigorously (Crick et al., 2020). Dramatically changes regarding

6
the lifestyle were also initiated which created a significant level of crisis for individuals. This
approach also enhances the level of poverty, disabilities, and indigenous peoples in an
effective manner. In most cases, a social stigma was initiated that creates a level of
discrimination among individual residents in the whole world. This outbreak also initiates
psychological problems that create a level of complexity among individuals. Along with
changes in the level of livelihood it also initiated a significant volume of non-optimised
approaches to the economy and social aspects in the UK that declined the productive assets
initiatives mainly (Ting et al., 2021).
However, in accordance with the present revised approach including operating formulation a
significant volume of GDP growth is expected to be enhanced up to 3.40% in the upcoming
period with the level of FTSE at 10.40% gradually. With the presence of this approach a
formulated development regarding both the socio-economic aspects in the United Kingdom
can be initiated.

Conclusion
In conclusion, the impact of this covid outbreak initiated a significant volume of crises over
the social and economic aspects on a worldwide basis. In the United Kingdom along with the
declining approach of a marketing position, a significant volume of the social crisis was
initiated that generally influenced the declining approach over living standards for individual
residents. Along with declining the level of GDP level it also increased the unemployment
level as well that initiated a non-progressive or recession period mainly. The lockdown
initiatives impacted negatively over the production and operating management of individual
businesses that influenced the crisis on a dramatic basis.

Introduction
 Applied technical advancement regarding educational engagement.
 Provides proper operating and social formulation support with optimised order (Lockee,
2021).
Notes: In the present period of advanced technical support, the engagement of online learning
provides positive educational support that brings educational sustainability in a proper
manner. It brings the consistency and compatibility initiative support that has expanded since
the covid outbreak (Lockee, 2021).
Slide 4

18
“What is an online learning”?
 It is considered as E-learning support that provides a level of operating sustainability and
is significantly demanded during the pandemic crisis.
 It provides a positive marketing formulation including education support with a
knowledge-based development approach (Paudel, 2021).
 Along with teaching and learning support, it also provides a steady growth of educational
facilities that are optimised for progressive performances.
Notes: Primary concept of online learning indicates a method of education that mainly
indicates the presence of a virtual environment regarding the educational approach mainly. It
is also initiated for multitasking support with the presence of which a formulated
development including operating compatibility is supportively managed (Paudel, 2021). The
presence of this educational engagement also brings progressive determination support that is
sustainable for developing the value processing approach of education mainly.

19
Slide 5

“What are the positives of online learning”?

 Time management; with the presence of these initiatives proper flexibility regarding
timings can be initiated that provides proper operating support for individual learners
(Muthuprasad et al., 2021).
 Affordable; identification of this programme is considered time-consuming and less
expensive with the formulation of which proper stability and knowledge processing can
be initiated (Palvia et al., 2018).
 Multitasking; the engagement of this educational support provides a level of
multitasking engagement with the presence of which a proper study processing can be
initiated.
Notes; The applied engagement of online learning is initiated for managing the time
formulation support that manages the operating development including progressive stability
in a proper manner. The presence of such engagement also initiates the affordable approach
that is optimised for individual learners (Palvia et al., 2018). Applied this engagement is also
initiated with multitasking engagement that is sustainable for feasibility and other associated
growth approaches (Muthuprasad et al., 2021).

20
Slide 6

“What are the negatives of online learning”?

 The online education process is not suitable for everyone with the presence of which
progressive performance stability can be initiated.
 It generally creates an isolated form for an individual student, which creates destruction
from the outer world (Kim and Gurvitch, 2020).
 It can also cause stress, anxiety and other mental disorders for individual learners.
 In some cases, technical errors have initiated a level of crisis for individual learners that
generally hampered performances.
 It also creates communication lacking in the case of individuals.
Notes: The presence of online technical presence is not sustainable for everyone due to
technical insufficiencies. It is also unable to formulate a progressive operating support and
communication development among individual learners. In some cases, it creates an isolated
form for individual learners, which is non-progressive for knowledge expansion and
development purposes  (Kim and Gurvitch, 2020).
Slide 7

21
Conclusion
 Effective online learning engagement provides a level of educational support.
 Since the pandemic, the primary demand for this learning significantly expanded.
 It provides a positive volume of knowledge expansions to support operating growth.
Notes: In conclusion, overall demand related to online learning engagement is significantly
increased and provides a significant volume of operating opportunities for individual learners.
It also initiated a proper progressive approach as well with the maintenance of which the
basic educational sustainability including operating formulation has been initiated. It also
brings consistency and compatibility support that is optimum for educational progress on a
worldwide basis.
