Hide Unwanted Layers
Note: If there is a layer that you don’t want to see on your drawing if you RIGHT
CLICK on that element in your drawing and click Hide Layers it will turn off the
visibility of that Layer.
TURN OFF ALL THE LAYERS YOU DON’T WANT TO SEE IN THIS DRAWING BY
RIGHT CLICKING ON THEM (HIDE LAYERS)

Note: Repeat steps 40-43 to change the colors to desierd look for Ceiling
Elements, Doors , Steel, Room Names & Heights and HVAC.

Note: Once the drawing is cleaned up, all of the layers you want off are not visible
and you have changed the color of each layer to match your desire look, you now
want to save this setting management system.

DEALING WITH REVISIONS
Note: When you get a revision for the RCP, you would delete the old sub layers
under the RCP and reload the new revised RCP plan into the RCP Main Layer .

Note: All of the Revised dwg layers from that file that was imported in to the RCP
layer
You will notice that all the new revised RCP layers will now revert back to it’s
AutoCad layer colors .

At this point, you just need to load the Setting File you just saved and then it will
clean up your drawing and put all of the layers to the right color and turn off any
layer you had hidden.
