circuit on DOL Starter, DOL with Overload Relay. Basics of Automation and its
Evolution.

PLC Panel Wiring

Introduction about components used in PLC panel. (MDF board, PVC duct, Din
Module 2 Rail, MCB, SMPS, Relay Channel, PLC, LED indicators), Practice of different
types of wiring of PLC Panel. PLC Panel Wiring.

PLC Programming

Introduction about PLC, Assigning an IP to PLC. Introduction about software (RS


Linx classic, RS Logix Micro English, Emulator 500), Introduction about PLC
Module 3 program(Rung, Rail, Comments, Titles, addressing), introduction about
instructions used in PLC programs (XIC, XIO, Latch, Unlatch, Coil, Timer,
Counter, Math instruction, Data manipulation instruction, Data transfer
Instruction)

Practice Session

Practice on the programming based on basic instruction, Practice on the


Module 4 programming based on Timer, Practice on the programming based on Counter,
Practice on the programming based on Data compare, transfer, and manipulation
instruction.

PLC with HMI


Module 5
Introduction about Vijeo designer (HMI programming software), creating a new
program, creating password for HMI program, Internal bits and simulation of
HMI program in computer. Interface between PLC and HMI, External bit in HMI
and PLC program. troubleshooting of HMI program. Uploading of HMI program.
Practice tasks on PLC and HMI.
