GENERAL INFORMATION
NAME OF ACTIVITY : 2022 ICpEP.SE Regional Convention 2022, 6th CpE Student
Challenge and 2022 ICpEP General Assembly
TARGET DATE : January 6–8, 2023
TARGET VENUE : Cagayan State University Carig Campus
TARGET PARTICIPANTS : ICpEP.SE Regional and Chapter Officers
RATIONALE:
The Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines Student Edition Region 2 (ICpEP.SE R2) and its
professional counterpart are requesting permission to hold the ICpEP.SE Regional Convention 2022,6 th CpE
Student Challenge and 2022 ICpEP General Assembly on January 6–8, 2023, with the theme "Innovations in
Reshaping the Boundless Computer Engineers," which will be hosted by the ICpEP.SE Cagayan State
University Carig Chapter.
This request comes after two years of coping with the limitations imposed by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
This regional convention's return in a face-to-face setting presents a significant challenge, but it also presents
an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our ability to adjust to the new normal situation following the high risks
posed by the COVID-19 Pandemic for the previous two years.
The success of this activity reflects the Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines' (ICpEP)
ongoing dedication to achieving its goals, which include expanding knowledge and specialization in computer
engineering through research and development. These goals include creating a network of computer
engineering students and professionals in the nation through member interaction and open communication.
The ICpEP Regional Convention is an annual event that is put on for the CpE students in the region by
both professional and student edition organizations. Here, they can learn about a wide range of topics from
various plenary talks to be delivered by renowned resource speakers and compete that highlights their abilities
and skills in both academic and extracurricular activities. This will guarantee that all CpE students advance
their skills and knowledge in any field they choose to pursue after finishing their education.
Although attending seminars, trainings, or conventions like the one proposed is not required of all CpE
students in the area, it is encouraged because it will give them new opportunities to learn outside of the
classroom. Because there is a high demand for computer engineering professionals in the industry, every CpE
student can become globally competent and competitive by attending conventions like this one.
Rest assured that the program will be conducted in strict accordance with all current regulations
imposed by the authorities regarding holding in-person gatherings like this. Peace and order, safety and
security of all participants will also be prioritized throughout the event.
Your support and approval of this request are sincerely requested as the success of this program is a
significant accomplishment for both the professional and student editions of ICpEP.
