1. overview
This document is for the EP802 series printers driver installation
and uninstall procedures.
It is supported for 32 bit and 64 bit Windows operating systems.
Include
⚫ Windows XP
⚫ Windows 7
⚫ Windows 8
⚫ Windows 8.1
⚫ Windows 10
⚫ Windows 11
Below is an example installation and uninstall procedure for
Windows 10 64 bits.

2. Driver installation

2.1 Please power on printer and connect with PC host via USB

cable,then load thermal paper. Printer will be in ready.

2.2 Right click “PrinterInstall.exe”

Select “Run as administrator”


2.3 User looks at Control Dialog window and Click “Yes”
2.4 Click ”Next”

2.5 Click “Browse” and select installation folder ,then Click ”Next”
2.6 Select Printer USB Port,Click ”Install”

2.7 Choose configuration “ Set Default Print” and “Print Test Page”
2.8 Complete driver installation

User will get driver test page , as below:


3. Driver uninstallation

3.1 Right click “Uninstaller.exe”

Select “Run as administrator”

3.2 User looks at Control Dialog window and Click “Yes”


3.3 Click ”Next”

3.4 Complete uninstall


4. How to check which PC port connects with printer ?

If the Driver has been installed successfully, and printer has

connected, then PC device manager of “Universal Serial Bus

controllers” list will show “USB printing Support” as below.

Click [Properties] go to next interface.


Choose the [Children] option to see the connected USB port.

5. How to choose the right port to connect?

1. view driver properties


2. select PC port you want to use with printer. Then click “apply”

6.How to set up driver configuration ?


Click the driver windows of “ Device settings” ,User can set up below

functions :

Black Mark Sensor : For black mark test

( Precondition: the printer by your hand equiped with blackmark

sensor and it is in activated )

Page Cut Mode : for each page cutting mode


Feed At Page Starting : Feed some blank at the beginning of page

Feed At Page Ending : Feed some blank at the ending of page


Doc Cut Mode : Cut paper at the ending page of whole document

Rotation Mode : 0°/180°


Print End Doc Blank : Feed some blank at the ending page of

whole document

After choose each setting , please click on “apply” ,then printer will

work on new configured functions.

7. How to print by user self-define paper size?

Click “Print server properties”


Select one form you used.

Change the width or length value as you want

Notice: the maximum paper width should be supported by your

printer.
Finally click on “Apply” after your setting. Then click “Preferences”

Click on “Advanced” and select your defined form to print.
