1. INTRODUCTION
This project to aim to design online book store management system for Best
Choice Book Store. The project proposal will include how to develop the" Best
Choice Book Stores" manuals system as an online book store system. Those
online system is going to be a great idea for them to grow and organize the store
well.
The Bookstore Management System is a web application that allows users to buy
books online. Users can search for a book by title using an internet browser, and
users can search book prices and authors name or by the edition, and other types
of related details. Put it to their shopping cart, and pay for it online. Users who
have previously registered can log in using their record data, while new users
can create a new account. Name, phone number, and delivery address should all
be included.
In order to produce a result, the framework will save each record in the database.
Bookshop management software is used to keep monitor of and control
transactions in a bookstore. Beginners and advanced users both will find the
software simple to use.
Which has a simple and very well functionality, an attractive Responsive design,
and strong insertion and commenting capabilities. The record process feature of
bookstore system services allows customers to produce hard copy reports to
obtain a clear idea of which books are taken by members.
2. PROBLEM STATEMENT
In the real world, it's usually associated with automated processes because they
offer lots of advantages to doing the same job manually. As previously said, we
have propose a system that may be used to maintain a bookstore. When it comes
to a bookshop's manual operation, the most significant issue is time waste. When
a consumer has to buy a book, he must lose valuable time because all of the
activities, such as searching and purchasing, are handled by members of the
staff. In a word, the manual process is extremely slow.
3
However, automation will reduce the time it takes to complete the operation. We
should handle with a large store in a bookstore. Then a person (the storekeeper)
is responsible for keeping it up to date with documents that he has recorded. As a
result, there may be incorrect reports. In addition, the organization will need to
appoint new people to complete the stationery maintenance.
The organization will then require a monthly fee. We will be able to get the
desired effects as we become more comfortable with this type of system.
Because the system is so speedy, communication with suppliers, customers, and
other related authorities will be more successful. When the bookshop issues an
item to a consumer, the system will make all stages of the transaction method
easier and more reliable
Main Objective:
The main objective of the project is to create an online book store that allows
users to search and purchase a book online based on title, author and subject.
Specific Objectives:
• To design an online bookstore management system
• To analyze the problems in the existing system
• To analyze the possible requirements for the new system
This Book Shop Management System is used to overcome the entire problem
which they are facing currently, and making manual system to computerized
system. -
Purposed Book shop management system should help the customers query
whether a book in a stock the user can query the availability of a book either by
using the book title or by using the name of author. The objective and scope of
my Project Book Shop Management System is to record the details various
activities of user. It simplifies the task and reduce the paper work. Book store
management system should generate sales statistics (book name, publisher,
ISBN number, number of copies sold and the sales revenue) for any period.
4
If customer request for a book and the book is not currently sold by the
bookshop, then the customer is asked to enter the full detail of the book for
procurement of the book by the bookshop. If the requested book is in stock, the
exact number of copies available and the rack number in which the book is
located should be displayed.
If a book not in the stock, the query for the book is used to increment a request
field for the book. In purposed system, As soon as customer selects his book for
purchase, the sale clerk would enter the ISBN number of the books. Book store
management system should update the stock and generate the sales receipt for
the book.
4. METHODOLOGY
The Waterfall model was used in the creation of the Book store management
system. The Waterfall model is a systematic and linear software development
method, in which the various phases are completed one after the other in the
order.
The waterfall model is a software development system that was created to
generate software. The model is known as a waterfall model because it flows in
an orderly, downward direction from one phase to the next. To get a good
understanding of them, information should be widely investigated. As a result,
we analyzed the needs collected from relevant users before implementing the
measures in various phase.

5. FUNCTION OF PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed system include the features to overcome the weakness of the
current system. This system will provide functional facilities for easy handling.
These are the function of proposed system.

7. REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS
This chapter provides the analysis of the requirements for our project. We used
fact finding methods to gather information. Collecting and reviewing
requirements is a very important procedure for the progress of the project.
A considerable amount of time and effort has therefore been put into this
section. Collected to create online spices and food products system for Best
choice book store. We collected data from the owners of Best choice Book
store. In many original collections techniques for analysis, the following were
primarily used.

8. MAIN INTERFACE
One of the main tasks of the developer is to design an interface that the
customer can quickly use, in other words, it should be user-friendly, and in
order to use it, you must have a better understanding of the consumers who will
use the application. To do so, we must first identify the objectives and
determine what kind of application they require.
The main menu will contain six parts which are as follows:
Home: This page shows complete web menus and features in a single
page.
User Login: You may buy the book and pay for it later, which is known as
cash on delivery. The user can reserve the book by making an advance
payment previous to the book's distribution.
Admin login: The administrator will upload new book information so that
users may quickly access it and purchase books on request.
