I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
1. identify the type of multimedia formats used in interpreting literary text.
2. Interpret the literary text presented using multimedia formats.
3. Value the importance of multimedia formats and ICT skills by giving reflection on
the message conveyed.
A. Content The learner will be able to understand and appreciate the elements and contexts
Standards of 21st century Philippine literature from the regions.
B. Performance The learner will be able to demonstrate understanding and appreciation of 21st
Standards Century Philippine literature from the regions through:
1. a written close analysis and critical interpretation of a literary text in terms of
form and theme, with a description of its context derived from research; and
2. an adaptation of a text into other creative forms using multimedia.

The learners will do a walkthrough of the lesson expectations. In this part, the
Introduction content of the lesson will be presented. Learning objectives will also be introduced
to guide the learners on the learning targets founded on KSAV principles.

In the previous lesson, you have learned about the multimedia formats that
you can use to creatively understand and interpret a literary text. Lesson 2 will
introduce you to an analysis of an anecdote with the use of multimedia in
furtherance of your ICT skills. Before you learn something new, try to do the activity
below.
We are fond of sharing humorous experiences in life to our family members and
friends. We might not be aware that we are already sharing stories like anecdotes
all day, every day. Just like posting your most memorable experiences in your IG or
Facebook account.
Read an excerpt
HOME OF THE ASHFALL

Activity 1: In a manila paper/ Cartolina. Create a photo story of the excerpt Home
of the Ashfall. Show it in class. Discuss your work in front of the class.
Take a picture of your output and put it in “My day”( messenger). Before posting
share something about the story that will inspire others.
