A Binance account acts as your gateway into crypto
trading. But before you can buy your first cryptocurrency,
you'll need to open an account.

Head to the Binance homepage, that’s binance.com,

and click [Register] in the top right corner.

Input your email

address and
choose a secure
password. If
you’ve been
given a referral
code from a
friend, now is
also the time to
enter it.

Follow the
instructions for
verifying your
account by
inputting the
code sent to
your email
address or
mobile number.

Once you’re verified, you should now be set up with your Binance account and
you’re one step closer to buying your first cryptocurrency!

 HOW TO COMPLETE IDENTITY VERIFICATION?

Now that you have set up your Binance account, let’s purchase some
cryptocurrency. Next, you have to complete the Know Your Customer
(KYC) process. KYC helps to make sure you are who you claim to be
and fulfill Binance’ legal requirements.

Identity Verification or KYC is designed to protect user’s accounts

against the misuse of financial accounts such as fraud, corruption,
money laundering and terrorist financing.

Binance requires users to complete Identity Verification to increase

their account’s security. You can enjoy a higher limit of your Binance
Account after verifying.

There are 3 levels of verification on Binance

1. Basic
2. Intermediate; and
3. Advanced

Basic is the minimum requirement for using Binance services and it

requires user’s personal information such as Name, Date of Birth and
Address.

Intermediate requires the user to provide a government-issued ID

and a Face Verification; and

Advanced requires proof of address.

 Step-by-Step Guide to Completing KYC

Log in to your Binance account and click [User Center]

[Identification]. You can change your country by clicking the
[Residential Country/Region] button.

Click [Verify Now] to start.

 Select the [Fiat] tab.

If you haven’t done so, complete your identity verification by

clicking on [Verify Now] and following the instructions.

 Increase your limits by clicking [Upgrade Limits]. You will then
need to upload pictures of your ID documents, then choose the
type of ID and the country where your documents were issued.

After uploading your photos, the system will ask for your selfie
and complete your face verification.

 If you can’t use your PC, you may opt to download the Binance
App on your phone and scan the QR code via your app to finish
the face verification process.

Click [I have completed this on my phone].

 After completing the process, wait patiently and once it is
verified, you will be notified.

If you want to further increase your limits, click [Verify Now] to

complete the Advanced verification.

 Enter your address and click [Continue].

Upload your proof of address documents, click [Confirm] to

submit.

The verification status will show as [Under Review] and wait

patiently for it to get approved.

 HOW TO BUY CRYPTO ON BINANCE

You’ve got a few options to choose from when

purchasing crypto:

Credit/debit card: the most straightforward option for

new users.

Deposit funds into your Fiat and Spot wallet: transfer

fiat currency from your bank account and use it on the
exchange.

Fiat Currency is a currency (a medium of exchange)

established as money, often by government regulation
(ex. Philippine Peso, US Dollars, etc.)
Fiat wallet is where you keep your money or deposit
your money to Binance account thru any fiat gateway
(debit/credit card)
Spot wallet is the place where you keep funds on the
Binance platform before you trade. It is used when you
buy and sell any crypto.

 PURCHASING CRYPTO WITH A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD

If you are still on

the Binance
welcome screen,
select [Buy crypto
with your credit
card]. Otherwise,
hover over [Buy
Crypto] and
select
[Credit/Debit
Card] from the
Binance
homepage.

Select the currency

you will be paying
with and the coin
you wish to
purchase. In our
example, we've gone
for £100 of bitcoin
(BTC). Press the
[Buy] button to
proceed with
inputting your card
details.

Once the process is complete, your purchased crypto

will be credited to your [Fiat and Spot] wallet. Usually,
opening an account and getting to this stage can be
done within 10 minutes.

 HOW TO BUY CRYPTOCURRENCY
WITH FIAT CURRENCY ON BINANCE?

You can purchase cryptocurrencies on Binance with more than

60 fiat currencies and multiple payment methods. The process
would also be similar for other cryptocurrencies, including
Bitcoin (BTC) or Ether (ETH).

Log in to your Binance account. Once you’ve logged in, move your
mouse to [Wallet], and click on [Fiat and Spot].

Click on [Deposit].

 Select the [Fiat] tab.

If you haven’t done so, complete your identity verification by

clicking on [Verify Now] and following the instructions.

 Select the currency you’d like to buy with and the payment
method. Binance supports credit cards, debit cards, bank
transfers, or your fiat balance.

Enter the required details and follow the instructions.

Make sure to double-check the payment details before

submitting your payment.

BINANCE P2P (WEB)?

Go to the Binance P2P (p2p.binance.com) page, and

If you already have a Binance account, click "Log In" and go
to no. 4
If you do not have a Binance account yet, click "Register"

Enter your email on the registration page and set your login
password. Read and check the Binance Terms and click
"Register".

 Complete Level 2 identity verification, enable SMS Verification,
and then set your preferred payment method.

Select (1) “Buy Crypto” then click (2) “P2P Trading” on the top
navigation.

 Click (1) "Buy" and select the currency you want to buy (BTC is
shown as an example). Filter the price and the (2) “Payment” in
the drop-down, select an ad, then click (3) "Buy".

Enter the required details and follow the instructions.

 Confirm the payment method and amount (total price) on the
Order Details page.
Complete the fiat transaction within the payment time limit.
Then click "Transferred, next" and “Confirm”.

Note: You need to transfer the payment directly to the seller through bank
transfer, Alipay, WeChat, or another third-party payment platform based
on the seller's payment information provided. If you have already
transferred payment to the seller, you must not click "Cancel" unless you
have already received a refund from the seller in your payment account. If
you do not make an actual payment, please do not click "Confirm" to
confirm the payment. This is not permitted according to the rules of the
transaction. If you encounter any issues during the transaction, you can
contact the seller using the chat window.

 Once the seller has released the cryptocurrency, the transaction
is completed. You can click (2) "Transfer to Spot Wallet” to
transfer the digital assets to your Spot Wallet.
You can also click (1) "Check my account" above the button to
view the digital asset you just bought.

Note: If you do not receive the cryptocurrency 15 minutes after clicking

"Transferred, next”, you can click "Appeal" and Customer Service will assist
you in processing the order.

 HOW TO TRADE CRYPTO ON BINANCE?

At some point, you will likely want to start trading

cryptocurrencies. If you’re not used to a traditional trading
interface, we recommend using the Convert feature. You can
access this by hovering over [Trade] and selecting [Convert]
from the Binance homepage.

 HOW TO TRADE CRYPTO ON BINANCE?

With the Convert tool, you can pick the cryptocurrency pair
you wish to trade using a simple interface. Fiat currencies are
also available if you want to cash out or buy crypto with fiat.

Select the coin you are exchanging in the top field and input
the amount. Use the bottom field to select your desired
cryptocurrency or fiat currency. In our example, we will trade
BNB for BTC. After confirming your selection, the trade will
take place at the market price. Trading fees are also applicable
and taken automatically.

 HOW TO SECURE YOUR BINANCE ACCOUNT?

Improving the security of your account is vital in the crypto

world. Using a strong password and our in-built security
features will help keep your funds safe. Make sure to start
with the following security steps.

Use a strong password and change it regularly

This one is self-explanatory, but you would be choked
with the number of people that still use passwords that
are simple and easy to remember. Your password
should
always contain uppercase and lowercase characters
mixed with symbols and letters;
make sure you keep it safe and do not share it with
anyone; and
avoid using obvious personal information as your
password as well

Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

We strongly recommend you set your account up with
Two-factor Authentication (2FA). This creates an extra
layer of security, meaning that even if hackers
compromise your password, they would need access to
your physical 2FA device to log in.

The Google Authenticator app or SMS authentication

are great places to start.

 Enable the Binance Anti-Phishing Code
When you add an anti-phishing code to your Binance
account, every email you get from Binance will have this
code displayed at the top. This way, you can be sure that
the message you are receiving is actually from Binance
and not from a fake email address. In other words, it
helps you prevent phishing attacks.
