INTRODUTION
Every child has the power to succeed in her education and in life, but most of the
students dropout her education after the secondary school, according to Unified
District Information System For Education Plus (UDISE+) latest annual report has
mentioned dropout rate by secondary level education is 14.6 percet because the most
common reason reported is lack of interest in studies and lack of Knowledge about
higher education.
1.1 Identifying schools, getting permission from school.

 The school we have selected is govt. High SchoolNeeralagi, Shiggaon &

Shree S. R. Bhommai Govn High School Gukul, Hubballi
 The important aspects of our activity to be delivered to students were divided
among us equally so they are properly explained to benefit the students.

1.2Motivating school and college children for Higher education

 Basic education (SSLC) , Higher education is plays important role for better
future and students should be capable to choose a proper course.
 The student should have interest, knowledge and check the scope before they
choose a better course.
 Higher education helps children to improve their skills and helps to setup an
ideal work for them.

 To keep pace with this ever changing technology, knowledge skills and
expertise are a must for maintaining our economic growth momentum. Various
initiatives have been undertaken to ensure educational institutions are
accessible to everyone in the country and emphasis will have to be made on
lifelong learning in our methodology of teaching. A school premises with
facilities of interest to the students and teachers passionate about teaching,
pedagogy that discourages rote learning will make certain that students stay
enrolled.
Three measures that can enable the right ecosystem needed for imparting
quality education:

 Maintained Infrastructure:A good, spacious and well maintained school

2
building with required infrastructure like furniture, clean hygienic toilets,
accessible drinking water, designated activity and play areas, functional
laboratories and computers will make students look forward to attending
school.

 Quality of Teaching and Teachers:Teacher and his way of teaching is directly

responsible for a student’s developing like or dislike for a particular subject.
Due attention should be paid to imparting training in modern teaching aids,
tools and methodologies integrated with technology so that more and more
people get interested in taking up teaching as a vocation.

 Extra-Curricular Activities:Facilities and avenues for cultural events go long

way in building a student’s life skills and personality and also keep the interest
in attending school intact.

IMPORTANCE OF HIGHER EDUCATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

A person chooses higher education when he wishes to specialize in his study

stream. A prosperous career, financial security and higher growth opportunities
are some of the benefits of higher education. With higher education, a person
becomes more employable with specialized skills and is likely to live a happier
and stress-free life. Highly educated citizens tend to be more involved in
community building activities and have a greater sense of discipline and
accomplishment.
Higher education provides a gateway to a number of opportunities in the
future. It is like a door opening to miscellaneous pathways, and one can always
raise his or her living standards by studying higher and higher in life. Higher
education equips a man with the specialized skills required to earn higher
efficiency levels at the workplace, gives an equal space in this competing
world, improves skills and provides scope for better serving our community
and working towards its development.

Purpose of Higher Education

The main goal of education is to provide a direction and purpose to one’s life.
If you aim to go far in that chosen direction, you need to set the stage for

3
achieving higher education for yourself. We can draw a simple analogy here. A
person who knows to drive a motorcycle hits the road with ease, but only in his
motorcycle.
Now if he is asked to drive a car that he doesn’t know to drive, he is sure to
struggle on the road. Both vehicles ply on the road, but to drive a car it needs
extra efforts by the same person, extra skills to maneuver the car, etc. So it’s
like achieving the next level of learning

formed and strengthened. It is bringing of head, heart and mind together and
thus enabling a person to develop an all round personality identifying the best

six decades after independence yet it is not equally accessible to all. India is
today one of the fastest developing countries of the world with the annual
growth rate going above 9%. Still a large section of the population remains
illiterate and a large number of children’s do not get even primary education.
No doubt India is facing various challenges in higher education but to tackle
these challenges and to boost higher education is utmost important. India is a
country of huge human resource potential, to utilise this potential properly is
the issue which needed to discuss. Opportunities are available but how to get
benefits from these opportunities and how to make them accessible to others is
the matter of concern. Thus we the students of KLEIT conducted an campaign
