GROUP ACTIVITY (BY PAIR)

PART 1: ESSAY WRITING. Answer the following questions truthfully.

1. Tell a personal experience in which you think you showed compassion for
yourself.
2. Do you always feel compassionate for others? In what ways?
3. Share one instance which you think you failed to show compassion to your
brethren. What did you do? What do you plan to do to correct that mistake?

PART 2: PICTURE ANALYSIS
Please refer to Broadening Compassion Module. (5 pictures)

What can you do to help these people around you?

 I find it better to give them food or

water instead since it's readily
consumable and would not be
brought into no significant usage.
Sometimes when I took off work, I
part take my small snacks like
biscuits or if there is a nearby food
cafeteria, I would buy them a meal
for the day. If given a chance in the
future, I am also looking forward to
carrying out a feeding program or
donation drive for these groups of
people since some of them really
deserve help and I wanted to
somehow provide comfort to them.
There is still a chance for humanity.

 These are the kind of people who

are doing their best to survive
instead of asking for money. I’ll
literally buy all of their
Sampaguita’s so that that kid will
have time at least to rest or play
since all of it has already been sold
out. My mom loves Sampaguita
and we always put them on the
altar.
