300 Series Intelligent Modules

The 300 Series intelligent modules are designed

for use with the Intelligent Fire Controller (IFC) line
of fire alarm control panels. The M300CJ control
module is used for a circuit of notification LED
appliances, or for monitoring of a telephone circuit.
The M300RJ relay module provides the IFCs with
a Form-C contact output for a variety of devices.

The M300MJ monitor module is a standard-sized

module that supervises either a Class A (Style D)
or Class B (Style B) circuit of dry contact input
devices. The M301MJ is a mini-monitor module
used to supervise a Class B (Style B) circuit. The SLC SLC Address
M302MJ is a standard-sized interface module
used to monitor and supervise compatible 2-wire,
24 volt conventional smoke detectors on a
Class A (Style D) or Class B (Style B) circuit.

Notes regarding audio amplifier in Figures 14 and 15 above:

1. Audio circuit wiring must be twisted-pair as a minimum.
2. When a 70.7 V audio amplifier is used, Terminals 1 and 2 are power-limited, while Terminals 3
through 9 are non-power-limited. In this case, the CB500 barrier is required. Otherwise, all terminal
wiring is power-limited. The CM500 includes a label indicating which terminals are non-power-limited.
This label must be placed adjacent to the nameplate label, which is on the module housing.
